Don't know how fast this board moves, this will probably never get a reply
But I heard closed beta test for this began last week. Anyone got in?
Anyone remember this gem? This shit was the only gacha I truly liked.

they changed a lot of stuff in the recent beta like free characters is locked behind progressing story and having to use a butt load of rubies to speed up recruiting and heavily nerfed most characters. it's about as expected from a new company in charge of the game trying to make as much money as possible off nostalgia bait before eos'ing it.

>nerfing chars
ah i get it, they want to make gear substat autismo and whatever semi p2w upgrades they planned even more mandatory than before isn't it?
i had a gut feeling its still gonna be shit after the announcement vespa hands it to other dev

Before that dreaded patch this game was great as a F2P
Rebalancing and making heroes harder to get is bearable, but if they keep the late changes Vespa made its pure retardation and will be dead on arrival. Same if they try to make this pay2win
It will alienate the returning players and fail to garner new interest, since its a literally who IP.

TL:DR: its shit, dead on arrival

i kinda skimmed the doc and its bleak
>CC immune is dead
>you need to clear certain stages just to unlock some chars in shop
>only 1 char visits the inn majority of the time so recruiting someone from there takes eons
>some chars costs 5 digit rubies somehow (??)
>absurd perk nerfs (ctrl+f blessing of mana for best example)
>nerfed rewards judging from login reward change
better just give up any hope the full launch will return all those good times before vespa starts dropping shit updates one after another
