Meet "Miasma".

The weakest of the four Accel admins, but not someone to be underestimated. He uses a Dark/Psychic deck revolving around poisoning his opponent.
Miasma's edgy looks and weird fashion choices extend to his personality, where he genuinely thinks that he is as cool as he wants others to believe. In reality, he tries way too hard to impress others and more often than not earns nothing but the ire and disgust of his underlings who cringe at his try-hard behaviour...

The Chinese-American Midori grew up in a household where her mother was extremely strict and insistent on her studying even after moving to America.
It got so bad that Midori ended up running away from home at 15, but her constsnt studying paid off, at least. She hasn't seen her mother in at least 10 years now.

I don't actually know if proper 2D artwork of the new Megas will ever be released, but I found two proper looking substitutes online. One of them is an original pose and the other one is based on the dex. I like the original one more but it has a watermark so I don't know if I should just use the dex based one because the watermark might make it look weird, so I'm putting it up to a poll again.

I will only be adding these updates to his profiles and not bothering with updating the lore because at this point nothing is set in stone beyond what happens shortly after XY (which is Alex's main story). I have no idea how to handle his age because how how hazy the timeline of Pokemon is. It doesn't really matter anyways because he looks the same way during his main storyline taking place right after BW2/XY (fun fact: those games occur at the same time in the official canon) taking place around his mid teens as he does when he's 30 years old (and if you don't believe that's possible, google "Ralph Macchio at 30"). How Alex actually gets Mega Glimmora remains to be seen, the lore isn't clear, but I read this on another thread

I think the new Mega Stones happened because, after Lysandre tried to Oklahoma Kalos, and the giant Angel taking over Prism Tower, some sort of AU Marvel fuckery happened, and now new megas are spreading when the Event Horizon line happens to cross. So far, is only concentrated in Kalos, but I wonder what will happen when people starts to share this new power ups to the public.

So I got two days off recently.
I lost the first one by sleeping and playing around, now the second is most likely to be the same since PUBG is about to release the new season pass, so I need to get used to the new map. On the plus side, a good short game I've found is the GBA version of River City Ransom.
Rename your character "PLAYA", buy everything you want, and go ham. Also, the song gets stuck in your head eventually, so enjoy daydreaming about kicking the butt of highschoolers before downing ten burgers from McDonalds and one soda.

This gardevoir conversation reminded me of an image I saw a few years ago, and I managed to find it.

It is the best way to make the mons of your trainer "theirs", and you can always build it naturally through item held like megastones or scarfs, scars that happen across multiple battles, among other things.

Well, I exited my teenage years today and honestly it was pretty mid. I spent most of the day at school and used my break to go out for lunch, and after that I just went to get some free items. I had a burger like usual, I might have regretted not getting ribs but then I didn't regret that because I got a free sundae which made me throw up (I don't know why I throw up so often now). Still worth it. I also thought Christmas this year was also pretty mid but that's behind me now. Back then I replaced my Airpods Pro of four years with the newest model and now I'm replacing my gaming chair of five years that has long since broken, so I'm at the point where presents are QOL improvements or just hard cash to procure those things with but not at the point where I get fucking undergarments or gift cards yet. It's honestly quite sobering how the magic of pretty much everything ends once you exit your teenage years, or even just high school (but when you're 19 you're kind of still coasting on freshman year of college not being as hard and the current failure to realize that you peaked in high school). More thoughts on the subject might have passed my mind but they're not at the forefront so unless I'm having an episode I don't think it's a good idea to focus on them. Really I am fine, maybe a bit disappointed with how things went overall but I'm so used to my life being disappointing that I don't feel much anymore. They forgot the balloons and the candles but told me that they would get them for me tomorrow (I still have the ones from my 18th and 19th taped to my wall). I'm just going to game for the rest of the day and then have cake before I go to bed. That can't create a bad evening. I will make another post by the end of this week. I am just not feeling too motivated to post right now. I did get a surprise present from the PLZA Sugimori artworks being released and finding out that Mork Gryning released a deluxe edition of Fasornas Tid.

The main plot revolves around Piper’s rivalry with Trium.
The other plot points are heavily Rose and focus since I want her to be like the N or Lillie of the story while Pipers simple rivalry is going.
The league parts will be one of my favorites if I ever get there. And there WILL be a winner between Piper or Trium, no tie bs, no interruptions, just straight up battle iq and raw power being tossed around.

And Triums hidden mission is also important to the story, it gets tide together with Roses plot lines very well.

Thse days have been very calm.
That's expected, everyone is having vacations now.
In the meantime, I want to point out something funny I noticed reading archive posts: when Brendom won the last Hunger Games through edgy tactics, it was also the same week Absol-Z existed.
I found funny the lost of innocence of our nice boy leaked into the world, making Absol going from an angel who warns you from calamity, to a dark angel of death who murders you to save YOU from calamity.

I've been busy with a collaboration in another community right now but I made some progress on writing before that. I will be posting some more stuff before the thread ends. As for the image I'm going to use, I guess this decision was kind of made for me. They always make it look like some kind of mysterious alien in the artwork and Paldea Pokedex images (including its pre evo Glimmet), it's kind of just staring at the viewer.

Laziness, I think in the base game you were not allowed to change the height of the dudes, but yes of the girls, because they didn't want to make new changes to positions depending on that value. You will be surprised about how many options were modded in if you ever bother to check the original game.
Also, I think overall one of the main problems is that there is a Male and Female body, but the way everything else works is like how guilty gear handles moves, everything was focused around the female bodies and males just have the female options adjusted to their bodies, At least if you search in some of the sites I linked you can find males made by the community that can be in different flavors, Silver foxes, manlets, gruff men, body builders, fat dudes, etc, and not just Bishonen or the average Kirito guy.

I imagine it's similar to how you look for lewd fanart of characters that are inherently horny, and they tend to be rare, or they have more wholesome fanart/not focused around their sexuality.
That, or you see a lot of dark and gritty Series or IPs spawning a ton of slice of life fanart.
When the focus is in one thing, others might want to pivot to other kind of content, or they explore through that IP these other genres, or stuff that does not fit the original IP, which is why you see so many fanart of Pokemon becoming Gory, gritty or "hardcore", like those Monster hunter X Pokemon fanarts.

I have been trying out one of the fangames called Reminiscencia, and its a fangame that takes inspiration of some of the leaked Mythos about the games, it made me wonder if any parts of those Mythos are canon or got dropped later down the line.
Also checking them again I found out that one of the myths was Arceus becoming human, getting married to a human, and then having children with that human, which I assume might be the first Mews?
Also, apparently the trio of the lake in that context would be parts of the soul of Arceus lover, weird stuff.

Many Pokémon characters tend to be relatively simple (shirt, pants, and shoes), but the exceptions come when it specializes on one type (fighters wear uniforms/sport clothing, Rangers have extreme wild emergency equipment, psychics wear purple and can go from long dresses/togas to gothic clothing).

On a scale of completely nondescript to Mihoyo slop, each accessory should provide insight into the character or the setting.
If you're making a protagonist, take a trip to your local mall, take photos of whatever is trendy, then add athletic wear like backpacks, belts and running shoes or hiking boots to the mix. Red wears typical 90s fashion, Gold is a sk8er boy, Brendan and May wear early 2000s biking outfits over diving suits, Dawn and Lucas are winter chic with clunky Seiko Ruputer smart watches since their games take place at the same time as Gold & Silver, so on. If you're making a Trainer class character, their design is their character, so you need to make sure it has a strong identity that stands out in the crowd. "Oh, it's that character, they use these Pokemon, I need to plan ahead."
Just like a Pokemon, you need to look at each detail you add to the design and have a solid answer to what it actually does. Details should reinforce a theme, not reiterate. If you have a pair of pocket chains, it's redundant to have a chain collar, wrist chains, and chained boots too. But pocket chains, a dogtag necklace, wristbands, strapped punk boots and an ankle monitor all reinforce the impression that this character has no freedom. Have a Pokeball dangling from that pocket chain and now he actually belongs to the world. Give him a Magnemite or a Liepard to literally or figuratively jerk his chains around and you've rounded out the design with a core strength and an exploitable weakness. "Oh, it's this guy, I probably need to put my Mienfoo in front."

ICP are a horrorcore rap group that got really popular in the 90s with midwestern wiggers. They were shit on a lot by critics as well as by Eminem and Sharon Osbourne and they had to start their own label Psychopathic Records because they kept getting dropped, and on that label they started a subgenre of horrocore called "Juggalo music" which is basically just wacky horrocore. They also ended up making their own annual music festival called Gathering of the Juggalos that is home to the most disgusting redneck degeneracy that you can imagine. In 2011 the FBI rekt them by designating Juggalos as a gang (which still hasn't been repealed, though suspicion of them is much lower than it was back in their heyday) leading to them becoming even more of social outcasts than they already were. The stories behind all of this stuff is actually pretty interesting and I reccomend that you read their Wikipedia article.

Juggalos are basically the fans of the group. Their "culture" mostly amounts to drinking Faygo, yelling "whoop whoop", and generally acting like a wigger while also listening to Juggalo music and horrorcore (again, read the Wikipedia article). In recent years some of their songs got popular on Tiktok and now Juggalos are a bit more divided in their appearance and behavior, you have your classical Juggalo that's basically white trash but with black and white clown makeup and then you have your neo-Juggalo that makes animation memes and edits of characters and identifies as a polyamorous omnisexual demiboy.

Horrorcore is a subgenre of rap music that focuses on horror (as the name suggests). Musically it consists of creepy beats and flows, lyrically it relates to movies, occultism and Satanism, and extremely graphic depicitions of sex and violence. It's basically like death and black metal but for rap music.

It's basically because ICP is baby's first horrorcore music, they deal with a lot more cartoonish stuff, but still they can get pretty graphic (they just present the violence in an exaggerated slapstick manner), like on their song To Catch A Predator, which is about a vigilante that lures pedophiles to his home and then locks them in his basement to torture them, he describes forced cannibalism, amputation/mutilation, and torture, but it's all made out to be super goofy. That's basically the whole premise of Juggalo music, very campy horror movie vibes that make what should be disgusting acts of violence look cartoonish, spaced out with more mundane and silly stuff, which is why ICP talk a lot about life, introspection, and spirituality etc, which led to that famous line about the magnets or the song Juggalo Island which is about, well, owning an island.
Then compare that to stuff like the first Three Six Mafia album that describes taking 1000 razors and pressing them into somebody's flesh for the crime of duplicating ideas and the routine references to Satanism, and even the more typical gang behavior and drug dealing/using is described a lot more viciously. It's basically all about how you present/market yourself as a musician and that's basically how ICP and the other bands on their label branched off from being actually creepy to becoming goofy early on.
