I don't see how. Gameplay-wise, what would be the benefit of the Pokemon shrinking? Making them giant has an obvious benefit for battles, but I don't see what advantage or purpose there would be to doing the opposite. Only thing I can think of is to explore some sort of tiny caves? But seems like that would be more like just an option you choose and wait for the results like when you could send them out to do jobs in one of the previous games, not something you would really interact with. Even if for some reason you could control it, everything else in the cave would likely also be tiny so it would not feel like it was anything different (And this is Game Freak we're talking about, they would likely just go "Oh, BTW, you're tiny now" while just loading you into the area where it does not look like anything changed because everything else is the same scale). Beyond that convoluted scenario, I can't think of anything they can really use Pokemon shrinking for. There can possibly be some uses for you shrinking, but that would just make the Pokemon look giant.

Dynamax is described more so as a distortion of space than a direct increase of mass, so I'd doubt that crushing is as much of a problem as it should be. if it was, I'd imagine most buildings would be designed so that the load of the Dynamax'd pokemon would be distributed over a wider area.
the real issue would be an increase in raw strength, a wide surface area won't help as much when it comes to your house being slapped across the town. my solution? ...unironically, give it a purposefully weak foundation so most the impact goes to launching, rather than crushing.
though on that note I have just woke up so take it with a grain of salt.

Lots of people seem to depict macro Meowscarada as crushing, grabbing, or eating whatever she gets her hands on because cat, but many seen to forget the description of how attached and protective it becomes over it's trainer. I feel like a giant meows would just become super protective of it's trainer rather than violent, especially if it's trainer shrank rather than her grow.

I always say that in the OP because the topic of the thread is really size difference, not only giant/tiny Pokemon. So I don't want to exclude images that convey size difference by having a tiny human. And there are times when it's ambiguous whether it's a giant Pokemon or a tiny human, like if there's no background or items nearby to compare sizes.
