Gigantamax mons have 100-person lobbies and generally take like 16-20 average, non-super-sweat, normie players to actually complete. That means that even with a random meetup day and no planning between normies, you can have 80 people with wooloos and it will still get done with no real added difficulty for the other players. They are literally designed to be a catch-up tool for normies to leech off.

You should keep all three, at the very least. The regular can be your mega, the shadow is a good option when you have the resources to etm it (save your coins and they sell an elite tm box every community day), and the dynamax can be a budget steel type until you get the dogs. I wouldn't invest much in any of them, though, because they all get outdone by the dogs, unless you're absolutely "I need this to beat something today."

They better not expect us to do harder mega raids, with them costing more with remote raids, just for the sake of FOMO. I really hope they're either significantly stronger than the previous megas were (i.e., they ignore the 4k combat power nerf), they give a bigger damage buff during non-solo raids, or some other unique benefit. Do you need it/will you use it? Do you have the legendary dogs/dawmane necrozma/metagross? Melmetal is alright but it's not great in raids nor in PvP. Also you need an eTM for its legacy move in order to make it alright. If you really really need a steel-type attacker right now, then you could, but otherwise it'd be better to save the dust.

Dazzling gleam is medicore and well worth ditching for a strong coverage move.
Kanto ninetails actually already had a grass covering move, but Solarbeam is too clunky to use. Dropping overheat for energy ball does still seam worth it but isn't as obvious as dropping dazzling gleam on Alolan.
