This one remains to be one of my favorite Fakemon.

Hell yeah they're my favourite dogs. Would be nice for a Fairy/Fighting or Fairy/Dark Chihuahua based on how they're actually sweet and loving dogs if trained right but most people treat them like toys and overstep their boundaries so they have to be aggressive to protect themselves.

There could also be a Water/Ghost type Chihuahua because the Aztecs believed that when a noble died, they would bury their Chihuahua with them to absorb the souls of the deceased and guide them into the afterlife by swimming through a river with its owner on its back.

Yeah there are a lot of potentially fitting types.
>Dark, Fairy, and Fighting all match stereotypical Chihuahua personalities
>Fire and Ground fit the Chihuahua's origin nation
>Normal because dog

>The Aztecs believed that when an Aztec noble would die, it was necessary to slay a Chihuahua and bury or cremate it with the body of the human. They believed that the spirit of the dead Chihuahua would act as a guide through the afterlife for the soul of the dead noble. The human spirit needed help swimming across a river into the afterlife and would crawl onto the back of the Chihuahua spirit to reach his heavenly destination in the afterlife. There is evidence that the nobility kept large packs of hundreds of dogs.

okidogi is legitimately 100% based on that stupid fucking muscled doge "meme" we've abandoned for a few years now.

There's a lot of popular dog breeds Game Freak hasn't tapped yet, at least from a visual design perspective.

Silly as it sounds, I get chihuahua vibes from Poochyena
I get that Poochyena is not a chihuahua at all though. Probably just a personal thing for me since I had a black chihuahua

I didn't really like Lillipup until I got a yorkie poo in real life and now I adore the whole line. Picrel is an incredible delivery I got from the drawthread a while back
