Donphan hits 110 more easily but that's not very big nowadays, and most other ex Fighting like Garchomp/Lopunny don't really need a ramper or just aren't great like Lucario/Machamp. We have plenty of 3-diamond Fighting mon with fat energy requirements like Tyranitar, Golem, Rhyperior and Mamoswine but even Lighting decks struggle to justify 3-4 energy. Three energy a turn on a stage 2 is a huge amount of energy but it feels like Psychic has very little that can escalate heavily off of that. As a F2P I have to be careful on which sets to spend so Crimson Blaze I barely spent any, maybe 200 hr glasses and was able to get 2+ every EX. You're going to playing trainers pretty much every turn, especially ones that get you cards, so bare minimum, by the time you get it online, you'll be swinging for 100 damage, then an additional 20 after every turn.

Something like Chandelure + Mimikyu ex with 10+ supporters or 2 Sylvally + 1 Chandelure + 11-13 supporters could work.

I hope someone from DeNA is reading this thread and realizes what a catastrophic fuckup they've done with this update. I'm never playing this game again. Yes, especially as Sabrina fodder. I even throw babies in front as meatshields despite losing a point from them so long as it protects my King. You're essentially printing a card that says "your opponent wastes their damage for this turn." When you put it into that perspective, you can see it's a pretty good card. If someone has rocky helm on you could even just not attack that turn just because it's often more impactful to force your opponent into wasting their move than to deal 10 damage. Even if it dealt 0 damage it'd be pretty good lol.

Good man. I've been using Ho-Oh decks frequently since release. Last meta it was surprisingly good and people would always be caught off guard and not know what the hell to do. Got to Masters pretty easily with this. Scooping an almost dead Fug or Lugia who tanked as you set Ho-Oh up is always a good feeling. Lugia is single canon, Fug is shotgun. The wins that are most fun are when I place energies on Fug, they put a Mega in front, and then I Energy Switch what Lugia needs off my Fug. Gambler will take that place. Though I'll have to figure out what changes to make to my deck to fit him.

There were so many times where my opponent was checkmated and would take a minute thinking their turn out before ultimately forfeiting. It's a good deck, people sleep on it already. Ho-oh gets a pretty cool stealth buff in a card that almost everyone is writing off because the conditions are hard to meet for any deck outside of Ho-Oh and maybe M.Steelix who I sometimes see running multiple energies from his baby ramps + Brock. But M.Steelix doesn't need an energy juggle so...

Ho-Oh can attack more than once in many situations, leading to an abundance of energies that are easy to Juggle around. You can get Ho-oh online faster than most people expect, and once it's online you pretty much never worry about energies for the rest of the match. Plus if you're dealing with manual energies then you most likely will not have 3 types to work with when you need it for juggling back onto M.Kanga when you saved it from death.

But your idea isn't bad really, just I'm very used to juggling energies with Ho-Oh and it's a fun deck when played right. M.Kanga feels like it plays into my deck.
