I like how you ignore the things they created of late that pander exclusively to Japanese sensibilities like curry camping in Gen 8 or Larry and Rika in Gen 9 as well as the things that appeal to both east and west. This is part of the evolution of Pokémon, by Gen 5 they had two teams and senior staff had time to start looking at the next 5-10 years and how they wished to move forward and grow the brand further. I don't know if simultaneous worldwide releases was always on the cards, but Gen 5's staggered release and the reaction from casualfag scum idiots to it not being for 3DS, because Nintendo pushed that out before Pokémon in the west, absolutely forced the issue and with TPC organising the localisation, it was under harder control than passing it off to America and hoping they fasttracked it.

It would salvageable if the game rights were stripped from GameFreak and given to a company that cares about making good games, they can still be kid focused, just make them good ffs

They're not getting more time, even the next 4 years sees Game Freak busting nuts on three projects, ILCA absolutely will have a BW remake in between and Game Freak won't start working on Gen 11 until 2027 for its 2030 release. And that means cuts need to be made to get a game out. Sorry this is so fucking hard for you to understand, but that's why Pokémon shits out a game a year and why GTA shits out a game every 2.15 years (not including DLC and MMO's). Also means that despite GTA's game revenue to date, Pokémon's franchise revenue dwarfs it.

Please stop ignoring reality, every new hardware gen sees a remake in the first Generation on that new hardware. Gen 10 is Switch 2 exclusive, thus a BW remake is assured, given Game Freak gave up all intent on making a DP remake and were trying to do something utterly new and disparate from the modern-era games, yet in the end, they made a game so heavily related to DP and its remakes they included the player character's room from DPPt/BDSP and tied ultimate completion of its story to getting an in-game event item in BDSP. You might have had a point if there already hadn't been 12m, 12.75m and 14-odd million spending full RRP for remakes on the current system over the years (side note, if your first experience of Kanto was FRLG, you need to kill yourself for the good of the internet pokémon community and the world in general), before the Switch remake earned $903,600,000 off 15m-odd people. And you can add an extra tenner onto the remake revenue for Gen 5, add a million in sales too (it'll be the first remake to outsell its original).
They've spent MANY years gouging people of money for their games and have gotten exceedingly efficient at it.

The odd thing about recent gen designs is that they look like the fake leak Pokemon that people laughed at in gens 5 to 7 but now people defend them.
