This is an attempt to make a general for 3gen games. New playthroughs, battle facilities records attempts, shiny hunting, rng manipulation, everything is accepted as long as it's related to 3 Gen games (Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, Fire Red, Leaf Green). Hopefully people are interested and this can be kept active.

I know it sounds retarded but I wanted to do a thing with the "3" and the 3 "g"s.

I recently started a Ruby gameplay on my gba SP because I was attracted by the RNG manipulation thing. Managed to get a Shiny Mudkip. The plan is to go through Ruby, Fire Red and Emerald in order and build a forever save in Emerald where I try to complete the Nat dex and attempt some records in the battle frontier.

On a similar path too, though I'm a bit further along and ran with Treecko instead.
Remember, now that you've got that Mudkip on a good seed, you should be able to shiny hunt for other static Pokemon too.
.. you WERE paying mind to the timing of your Mudkip find, right anon?

I think they're referring to that one nerd who has a hate boner for FRLG. Usually samefags Gen 3 threads with them in between the conversations, trying to derail it. Idr his name.

yes of course I annotated my SID. I got somewhat lucky since my earliest shiny frame has very high ivs (31/30/29/25/25/31) with a Quiet nature and it corresponds to a Ralts in route 102 which I managed to catch. Not gonna lie the fact that I all of my rng manipped shinies for Ruby will have the same PID and Nature bothers me but I guess it won't matter that much since the main run will be on emerald and Ruby is just a stepping stone.

Newbie in RNG Manipulation here (RSE). So I got the gist of it, basically you are rerolling for a specific TID - SID combination that combined with the dead battery seed gives you a predetermined list of shiny frames. Now, I see that if you get a "unlucky" TID-SID combination (maybe your earliest shiny frame is in 3 minutes and the next one is like 7-8 minutes away) you might be forced to rng manip predetermined shiny mons in each route using the same shiny frame forcing them to have the same PID. Now if I want to reroll my seed I have to use the painting method or restart my game (in Ruby). My question is, did someone try to reverse engineer the best TID-SID combinations for RSE FRLG where there are various early shiny frames with good spread? I think that shouldn't be hard to do.
