probably for mobile devices, kind of surprising there isn't one already, every day you get 3 balls or something and can play to try and catch a Pokemon, you could even do events to catch special Pokemon or allow trading between accounts.

Oh, Pinball RS was my shit. I literally savescummed just to get all the art to fill the Dex, including sprites! It was so cool.

Much like the Orre games, TPC is too embarrassed that it mogs the fuck out of their new mainline releases, so they'll never allow another one to be made.
