Every single "no, guys, seriously, you can make art of X obscure character" claim is followed up by some of the most bland, soulless departures from the design being attempted. I've never been impressed, and almost always feel robbed because the potential for one or two good pieces of porn for that character has been pissed away.
LITERALLY the only exception to this I have encountered is goblin porn. Goblin porn isn't even super rare, but AI has made a positive impact on goblin porn. Which, goblins making the most out of a shit situation that would kill anything else and multiplying like green rabbits is incredibly on brand anyways, so goblins being the sole exception makes a certain kind of sense. Also because weird proportions and strange bodies make goblins better.
