since its up to 6 passes on costume raid day, expect to do 5 costume raids and then spin and save 1 pass for a normal raid after. maybe you could stretch it to 6 costume raids and 1 after if you saved the day before but its risky. once the event ends, you definitely don't gain anymore additional passes from spinning.

expect raids to take 10 minutes each and to do two per 30 minute rotation before missing out on the third one unless you are in a gym density area because of the stupid late spawn in and spawn randomness, even if all gyms do spawn one.

many of the raid mon like sneasel, absol and dragonite are red to orange circles by default to catch. dragonite melts ridiculously quickly compared to the super mega form, and the former two melt to machamp for dark raids if you are buddied with kubfu or bisharp.

every 30 minute rotation comes with what feels like 5 minutes wasted at the start before it slowly refreshes to the next costume mon. and at the end of the event it will cycle to the normal rotation raid eggs to be spawned in 1 hour later at 6.

overall a shit event getting in the way of the 2x catch candy bonus with too many mon and not enough activated gyms. no shinies between 10 checks either.

I'm immediately a touch skeptical, mostly because of mega gallade being higher overall, just because resolute keldeo is the best non-mega fighting type (only edged out by mblaziken and mlucario)
it's a reasonable psychic type attacker, but when competing for a mega spot, it's behind alakazam and latios (and mray with double flying moves, hilariously, as mega fug is just mega busted and still boosts your party's psychic moves like an actual psychic type would)
so it being higher than keldeo (who has a clear claim as the BEST non-mega fighting type) without actually being the best at anything seems intriguing
unless the argument is just that everyone has a billion ralts candy so the cost of powering it up is minimal vs. a mythical you can't even raid for candy, I don't understand how they can justify it

overall, though, even if i'm going to quibble about a couple of placements and their description of the tiers themselves (latios, gengar, gigalith, magnezone being in a tier that's described as having limited effectiveness? I guess if you're only using the lens of trying to short-man 6* raids) the list is fine overall

There is no way there is ANYONE out there that has 9k in either candy since you can’t even get a bag that big. It’s not as bad as you think unless you’re an autist that HAS to max it out, only a perfect can hit over 5k (but it still isn’t stronger than perfect slaking without the buddy boost) so yeah you still needed to do a bunch of raids to get the candy for it. Oh, dynamax cannon is broken in dmax raids, by the way. I don’t know if raising the level makes the charged attack better, but the charged dmax can fire and still allow you to dodge or do anything else where other charged attacks stop you from dodging while you do the animation. I have no clue if it’s intentional, but it makes Eternatus a good dps even without being the guy who actually goes big mode

Chansey metagross and excadrill are the three that are the best dynamax mons readily available that don’t have gigantimax forms to conflict with their power up. Other than that rillaboom machamp and charizard are all solid in their own right, you can even raise three charizards since you can use them as fire flying and dragon type dynamax attackers

My understanding is HP is calculated from stamina in such a way that at certain levels 14IVs vs 15IVs results in the exact same HP stat. Keep in mind that the difference between 0-15 IV’s is already small for many mons in the first place

Doing one route per day is piss easy. The minimum length is 500 meters, which is something you can easily walk in 15 minutes. You can even use a car to cheat since routes don't check for speed or anything. Routes don't even check if you walked the actual route. As long as you're at the end point and the distance traveled is equal to or more than the route's length you can complete it. Hell, you can actually walk like 20 meters less than the route's length.

I do like 3-5 routes per day. They're piss easy to do, and you can get very good rewards from them like rare candy XL and even elite fast TMs.
Pro tip for creating your own routes, shorter and more is better than longer and less.

Two tanks (Zamazenta or Blissy. For Charizard maybe Omastar?) and type specific attacker. So Gigalith for Charizard, Cinderace for Venusaur, Rillaboom/Toxtricity for Blastoise.

If your tank is a Blissy get it to level 30 and max out guard you can use Blissy for all of them so it's probably more value to max it out rather than boosting your attackers. But ideally you want both.

Don't listen to the other retards. Gmax mons can have up to 99 players participating, so you don't need to bring fucking ANY good mon whatsoever, the chip damage will demolish whichever Gmax boss you face as long as you have a fairly sized community close to you.
So what you should do is:

>3) Collect your daily/3km particles so that you're ready for the event (or do so a couple of days before it)
