Started from UB4 this time for the first time. It really is easier to get to MB with such a good starting launchpad.

Using a Charizard X / Charizard Y / Entei deck. It's really versatile with the Flame Patches and if they play a Mega you can build the 250-damage Charizard and finish them off easily.

I've had matches like that as well, they spend a full turn healing only to lose anyway, but it's still a terribly designed card that never should have made it into the game. The only way this card would be acceptable is if you could only get 1 extra heal, making it a stronger potion with the drawback of only working on the active mon. I might even have accepted a version that works like Misty, where you flip all coins at once and it fucks off, but instead it was designed in the worst way possible. The worst part of all is that it wasn't put in to address some imbalance or issue with the meta, instead it just hurt the meta, makes matches longer and has 0 counterplay further killing any sort of strategy this game might've had.
Then as if that wasn't enough they add fucking Igglybuff to the game yo fuck things up even more.

Really fast Masterball climb this time. This deck is fun, and most importantly doesn't rely on cancer coinflips which have become way too frequent in this meta between Sleep lock and Lucky Ice Pop.

At first I wasn't feeling Maintenance and removed it. Realize it helps momentum a lot more than I realized.

Hopefully you start Goomy, but not the end of the world if you don't. Oricorio and Goomy are both meatshields with different purposes so almost never need energies on them. Your focus should be getting energies on Rowlette as fast as possible so that Deceduleye is ready to snipe the moment it's summoned. Surprisingly many games where you get to 0 cards in your deck while your opponent still has 7+. And if you don't, use your meatshields to stall as much as you can. Force them to overallcoate energies into the wrong mon with Goomy. Force them into needing to build up a non-EX for Oricorio. Goomy as anti-baby tech is the funniest thing ever. Wonder if more decks can fit the little gumball in.

"The only point that matters is the last one" - Deceduleye after losing Goomy + Oricorio and coming out with enough HP tank most moves and enough damage to 2 shot every mega

They should do themed PvP events, like a Team Aqua vs Team Magma event where you can only use Water or Fire decks, or a Black & White event where you can only use Unova Pokémon, etc.

I usually like getting to 1k points in MB using non-sweat decks, but this meta is so miserable that I don't think I'll make it.

Stop power creeping the game every 2 weeks would be a nice start.
Have more effects that dont rely solely on coin flips would also be nice.
Scrap cards that can instantly win you the game from coin flips would also be nice.
Do more unique and interesting events than the same 3-4 nothingburgers that get recycled every few weeks.
Buff / nerf cards. I want to use infernape ex but its literally useless when mega blaziken exists.
Have an event or filter for what sets to play with and against. Id like to play games during GA again, this games current meta is a hosh posh of coin flip kikery and stupid power crept faggot shit from sv.
Games gonna EoS in 2 years tops anyways given the sheer laziness of dena though.

Errata the problem cards, namely make ice pop work differently or have a hard cap, make greninja deal 10 and/or require an attached energy to use it's ability, make igglybuff flip a coin to inflict sleep and have darkrai's ability trigger AFTER the sleep heal coinflip, make indeedee require energy attached to use it's heal, make it so rare candy blocks the mon's ability the turn it is used, either nerf Altaria's damage or make it 3 energy, make all babies 20 hp instead of 30.
These changes alone would improve the game so fucking much it's unreal, they would instantly heal the meta out of 90% of it's bullshit. After that start actually playtesting cards before adding them instead of just shitting out broken nonsense and leaving it in.
Better trading (both UI and how it works in general) and some better variety in pvp would also go a long fucking way.

Yeah, I'm just not playing this game anymore. I made Masterball within the 1st day of ranked so it's not like I'm being pissy about losing rank from this shit. Going to install Champions and dedicate my brief free time to that instead. Wish the mobile version was out so I can easily play it on the toilet like I do Pocket, but I'd rather pluck my nutsack hair with my bare fingers than play Heads-I-win-Tails-You-Lose anymore. It was bad before of course - we had Misty, Celebi, Magnezone, Meowth, M.Penisore, etc. But at least with those you could still play the fucking game (aside from Misty giving Palkia 6 energies on turn 1). We've reached the point where the game is just mostly coinflip interactions. It's so fucking retarded. And Lucky Ice Pop is the shit fucking frosting on the turd cake. At least with Misty and Celebi you get the coin flip fuckery done in one go. A single screen to show you how retarded the game mechanics are. Ice Pop? Nah, you're sitting there for 30 fucking seconds watching a coin flip again and again. Even more frustrating when you've checkmated them and they waste your fucking time with that shit. YOU HAVE 150 HP AND MY CHARIZARD DOES 200 DAMAGE, STOP FLIPPING COINS AND ACCEPT THE FUCKING LOSS FUCK YOU.

So yeah, just installing Champions. Probably my last post in this fucking general too. What a shitshow. I never expected a deeply complex and well balanced battle system from this game, but I guess my expectations were too high to at least assume it would respect my fucking time at a bare minimum.

The other four monitor clients would have updated to have meowth on any choice the instant it was drawn on the first screen. If they were able to choose a different card on all 5 clients at the very exact same moment and still produce this result without a connection error then I'd believe it. That, or we get the source code which is never happening. This game is sluggish as fuck wasting your time with a billion slow pop up menus because they run checks and syncs like crazy, of course one of the most important screens to run real time updates on would do just that.
