You know any way to improve loading speeds on gamehub? I got SADX up to 60fps with an arcane combo, even managed to fix a rendering bug with newer Turnip, but it stutters for a second on EVERY single voice line and most sound effects as they're loaded on demand as tiny separate files. Gamehub only runs from internal storage. Thought there might be a bottleneck from mounting Downloads too, but running from C:/ suffers the same problem. Had no luck running it on Winlator, but I might be missing something. After a couple hours dicking around with Gemini, I was able to get a build working.
There was a lot of troubleshooting, because I was building it in WSL2 on a machine that already had StrawberryPerl on Windows PATH, and I had to cross-compile and set up arm64 linux repository, set build arguments, etc.

Now I got Sonic Mania Plus on my RG34XXSP running with mod support, now I just gotta figure out running the mods lol.
An anon mentioned something about a button combination, though I wonder if that was a modified build from that Telegram thing they linked.

Also the build file is ironically "personalised", I opened it in HxD and found traces of my WSL2 Ubuntu home directory with my username in there.

But I was born in 1987 and PS1 and GBA where what I played in Elementary and High School.

I was amazed we could have "3D" games in GBA, like rudimentary PS1 games. Still I wished I could play SNES games on GBA, to play PS1 games on RG34XXSP in that form factor is KINO.

I had my GBA-SP with me during public commuting to and from High School, and always loved the form factor. I wasnt interested in GBA at that age (I was interested in sex and weed) until I saw the silver flip screened Ice Cream Sandwich and fell in love.

I am happy with Indigo over Silver on my RG34XXSP, purple is my favorite colour and Indigo is its neighboor, when you stand on Purple's violet edge and look next to you all you see is Indigo. I loved the GameCube aesthetically (did not have one,. nor wanted one) because of its form factor AND "PURPLE" COLOR.

Remember fondly realizing you could get sharp, vivid, 480p 3D in a CRT with my cousins Component GameCube... It was a key moment for me witnessing videogames from the distance but realizing a qualitative leap had been taken, with ATI videocards incorporated into Nintendo... breaching the gap between PC and console.

It actually feels premium af and everyone I've shown it to has been like wtf is that. Im playing ship of ocarina of time on it rn and it feels amazing. Still setting up emulators but I've played some stuff and it looks great. Need to tweak some controls. The triggers are damn fine on this thing and the screen is beautiful. Can't wait for gamma os. Bought a Smart Pro S and loaded up Crossmix. No issues there. But I want to make custom game folders/collections and CollaGen was recommended. Issue is when I launch it it's in vertical and if I hit the Dpad to move the selection field kt freaks out and cursors all over the place.

I've seen it mentioned a few times so I'm genuinely curious since the android part is almost identical to my retroid one.

The wire is fine, the charging circuit is generally the issue. If you plug a USB-C to USB-C cable into it it gives the device fast charging voltage when it can't accept that, but since it doesn't step down the voltage it causes damage to the battery if kept plugged in for too long. It's best to use USB-A to USB-C on these things to be safe, and if you have that you can plug it into basically anything since the cable will regulate that since it can't even provide that fast charge voltage even if it's available.

This is more of an issue with the cheaper devices and older devices. The newer ones and more expensive ones seem to have realized this is a problem. The SD cards are worthless though, immediately bin them. Their roms aren't even the properly hashed ones, are usually ones from decades ago, and the card is going to fail in a few months of ownership. Just curate your own collection and figure out what OS you want to use, don't be lazy.

There are lots of chargers which implement older versions of Qualcomm's Quick Charge on USB-A to USB-C. Stellar blade uses adaptive triggers and track pads natively, it does not use gyro. You can enable gyro by mapping it to L2 and having it mirror the right stick, but enabling steam input will disable Dualsense features like the trackpad and adaptive triggers. This is why it's better just to get a third party pro controller and map all three features in steam input instead.
