Super based game that was terribly underrated. We used to play the fuck out of it in college after the bars, only issue was that it was 2p splitscreen only. The ten characters all have advantages (except for maybe zorgulon) and are very balanced especially in head to head play. If you have someone to play this game with I highly recommend it

Yeah, Zorgulon is pretty terrible. His quick attacks especially have such a shockingly low range they're almost impossible to hit with. One time, my friend and I played a match on the airstrip where I was Zorg and he was Raptros and it took like twenty minutes because there was no timer and he'd just fly away to regenerating health over and over. I did end up winning, but only because it was his first time playing.

On the upside, Zorg is great in the building destroying minigame.

The single player campaign is decent. Even has several bosses. Pretty short. Really nothing to it besides 8(?) matches that never change, but you can also have some fun against NPCs in free battles. But if you love giant monsters, this game's a hoot.

Robo 47 and Kongar are good entry points, kongar might be the best in the game. The godzilla dragon and zorgulon are the most worthless. Mantis has a low tier special like tolerance but is great in melee

In practice his flying glide is very unique ... really the whole roster is unique from eachother ... but design wise raptros isn't very imaginative. Zorgulon/Magmo/Kineteclops are the most imaginative character designs
