You have some retro stuff ready to go in your pocket, right anon?

Been using NetherSX2 classic for PS2 and currently playing Darkwatch. Nice and smooth emulation and using gestures as right analog makes it feels designed for touch screens.

I tried RetroArch for other stuff but the touchscreen is shit, any recommendations for an all in one emu? If not, standalone is fine.

Also share your thoughts and experiences.

Playing sotc and king's field 4 for the first time on it. Never had a ps2 growing up.
Not playing right now but in the middle of playing through:
>Yakuza 1
>Silent hill 2
>Genji
Goated machine

For the love of fuck, telescopic controllers are cheap. You don't have to live this way. But to answer your question, im currently fucking with gamehub for 6thgen pc games

Hello gamesaar? I'm betting a g8...

Still play original hardware despite my galaxy s24 FE. Smash hit is fun though.

I don't play video games on the go so I don't have any, but I've considered setting up one or two emulators anyway in case I find myself with a lot of time to kill while idly waiting in public. What are some good mobile retro games? They'd have to be
>playable in short spurts
>non-action games (preferably entirely turn based) to compensate for touch controls
>not story based (I expect to never finish them and not seeing the end of a story sucks)
Sokoban-esque puzzle games are an obvious choice.
Implementations of board games would work. This is mostly Mahjong games but there are others.
Roguelikes? I'm not sure about this one since individual runs might go on for too long.
Any other ideas?

Try lemuroid. Not as many options, but will do the job.

For standalone that I use:

Duckstation
Drastic
PPSSPP (must have)
Snes9x EX+

Paid, but you can pirate it:

MD.emu
M64 Plus Pro
Pizza boy (A) GBA Pro
Pizza boy (C) GBC Pro

Nice thread, I was about to make it myself.

So far I am playing with touch controls:

FFVII
Policenauts
Trails in the sky
Valkyria Chronicles
Bunch of DS point and clicks

Also looking for a decent budget gamepad that can work with the phone.

why would you ever want to play games on your PHONE? Small screen, terrible touch controls. Why. It would be a terrible experience.

>why would you ever want to play games on your PHONE?

Agreed. Phone games are shit, that's why we are talking about emulating retro stuff instead.

>Small screen

So handhelds

>terrible touch controls

It depends on the emulator and the game. Some are fine, others unplayable.

>It would be a terrible experience.

At least try it you lazy fuck. It's a lot better than getting ton of ads for stupid puzzle games.

I don't think the screen small, it's bigger than most classic handhelds... also the touch controls are great on Lemuroid, and if you want you can use a telescopic controller. I find the experience pretty good with the proper setup that fits your use case.

Always hated Retroarch I don't know why I think it's a good all in one emulator but I think it's overrated.
It's more like feelings.
>First time I tried retroarch I felt like that the games worked but feel off like a little glitch in graphics or stuttering
>Always have to dowload cores but feel like they are cheap(the atari jaguar one I feel like is meh)
>the setting page is kinda hell
I prefer to use "single" emulators both for PC and my phone, since i bought a Red Magic 10 it's really perfect for Emulation and videogames with integrated shoulder buttons so I can play both with controller and screen.
Anyway I use lone emulators because they feel more authentic IMO.
For now I played on netherSX2 and finished God of war 1 and 2, then return to castle Wolfentein and a guilty pleasure of mine Ring of RED.
