Playing this right after Half Life 1 recently was a huge mistake. You see why pc gamers scoffed at it. Still, compared to most games today the Halo trilogy is leagues ahead. It's just that when you're enjoying a big juicy steak it's hard to go back to a solid hamburger.

i hate steak, you have to insist upon yourself to eat it. cutting and forking it into your mouth, taking a nuanced bite of your sides inbetween steak bites.
the burger is simple, you just bite into a flavorful handheld god-ration and remain in the fight for another day. the gamer's fuel.
