I would give good money to someone who found a way to bottle old Nintendo manual smell.

i have almost no memory of nes manuals or boxes. i think briefly we kept manuals with the game in picrel but they all disappeared relatively quickly.

They smell so good. I remember SNES games in particular having such a nice sweet smell to them. NES and N64 ones didn't have the same one.

I actually am lucky enough to have this, thanks to a CIB Super Scope I bought for like 30 bucks back in 2002 or so. The guy told me he bought it, used once, and never again so it's practically mint and it includes the original styrofoam holder inside the box, of course the Scope with the infra read receptor, and manual + other paper inserts. It all smells like a brand new SNES, I know because I got one as a kid in the early 90s and brand new SNES is super comfy for whatever reason. So yeah I can't believe it but whenever I want to get myself a nostalgia trip, I can go dig the Super Scope in the closet and take a sniff, it's magic, retro magic.
Thankfully I also still have my original childhood Super Scope so I don't have to use this one (I remember buying it because it also came with a CIB Yoshi's Safari as well which I was looking for at the time), I would have paid $30 for the game alone

There's a way, surely.

I was nostalgiafagging about DKC a few years back and my wife actually got me a complete copy of the game for Christmas…and the manual still had the smell!
