she's ok but the story behind how you hook up with her doesn't make any sense at all
you're sent by vampire hunters to figure out what they're looking for in this crypt and once you find what they were looking for (Serana), you go to their castle and deliver her to them
when you turn up at vampire hunter HQ the leader (criminally underused character btw) is all "wtf are you smoking you fucking moron"
even the NPCs think it's retarded
but other than that she's mostly fine
the rape shit is more implied than explicit but it does mean she turns down romance
As usual the problem is the DLC was rushed. bethesda doesn't let their people actually polish anything so that's why things have been noticeably worse as time goes on.
