There is no timeline. About 4 of the games refer to a myth of a hero which may or may not have the same name depending on the version. It's like a single line reference or an item named after the hero.

There is very clear continuity among most of them, the Erdrick games and Zenithian games specially

It's not. This is all you need to know:
-3 > 1 > 2
-6 > 4 > 5
-10 > 9 (recent expansions confirmed this)
And that's it. Other games like Builders, Monsters, or Mystery Dungeon aren't hard canon and are more like what-if alternate timeline scenarios when they have connections to mainline games.
The games are otherwise ALL very loosely connected in that they're all different worlds. 8 touches on this in that Empyrea is actually Ramia from 3, having developed the ability to transport herself between worlds, and the party itself travels to two additional worlds themselves. 7 touches upon this in that one of the tablets brings you to another world where The Almighty is hanging out after determining that humanity has grown enough to not need him. 6 touches upon this by having Rubiss show up. Finally 1 and 2 HD touch upon this by explaining that Rubiss is currently in different worlds during the events of both games and needs to be called back.
