I preplay both for a short time. Then settle on one I find more engagin and either continue playing them or reroll them with fixes to the build.

I simply choose one and stick with it. There's no point in worrying about something like that, just look forward.
Games have actually taught me to be more decisive and less regretful about decisions. Be it RNG fucking me over or stuff like that. A bad 1% occuring doesn't mean your decision was bad. And playing route A first can be better as much as it can be worse than playing route B first. No point in fretting over either.
