Recently competed a play through of Final Fantasy 8 and boy is this game boring.

I've not played it for years having never really enjoyed it as a child. Back then I just on the hur it's not FF7 dur bandwagon so wanted to give it a fair crack now I'm older.

Glad I went back to it so I could appreciate it more but the whole game was just a slog to complete and generally really boring overall. It starts slow, actually picks up some good momentum in disc 2 leading into the Battle of the Gardens then falls off a cliff disk 3/4.

Not the worst FF overall but definitely towards the bottom of the pile for me.
