One of the first games that introduced me to the concept of self-canon.
Even as a kid I was in awe of how much they fucked up the tone that I denied everything and ended it at X.
Probably a progenitor of my habit to never involve myself with series that aren't complete or standalone too, be it books, anime or other games.

The job system is fun but it has been done better in other FFs. Equipment is no -existent so the customization ends there. Actual battles are a complete mess with action queues that often have all of the characters charging and you having to wait out the game to order things.
