Glad there is a thread, I've been playing this game using the standard AI (5 turns in 20 hours), I've been playing as germany, empowered the SS and launched total slavic death, I managed to cap poland, france, balkans (exept greece, I forgot about them) and launched the aryan crusade against the judeo bolsheviks, I have been victorious against them , genocided 38 million slavs thanks to elite SS purification squads, and managed to push them into the urals, problem is I was thinking of betrating Japan and not declaring war on america, sadly its a event that I cant control, North africa fall and my shitty allies (spain and Italy) fail miserablly while I was fighting a soviet counteroffensive, Yankees land 1 tile in Sardinia, and fucking shitalians backstab me and discuss peace, I invaded them and they capitulated to the allies, ceding half of Italy to them, somehow the fucking allies have air superiority even though Im raping all the ressources of eastern europe and have millions of slavic slave labourers, I knew my trump card was a nuclear weapon but even though I inflicted heavy losses on the yankees they are still invading me (I feel like the AI wants me to lose on purpose)
I was thinking on nuking some shithole in central asia to scare the allies into signing a peace deal, but I feel like the AI will juist shrug, Im prepared to cede all of france if they sign a peace deal, if they dont Ill either nuke Paris or London, lets just fucking hope the AI wont ignore nuclear annahilation
Oh also I managed to make early jet engines a year earlier, somehow the fucking allies managed to bomb the factories, Ill move them to the baltics and poland

Check the thread and see my other posts, but I will continue from here >>2255517 after the shitalian betrayel I invaded Italy until I arrived to rome, I was busy to fighting the soviets in the urals and building the archangel astrakhan line, the AI, assumed I was losing and started the endgame scenario for me, north africa fell, all of Italy exept the north fell, and the allies started a normandie landing, the good news is since the soviets are in a horrible situation (38 million confirmed military and civilian casulties) I managed to move army group south to defend france, they landed in the normandy and than in south france so I had to retreat to the siegfried line (I dont know how I lost Alsace, the AI just gave it to America), thankfully I managed to build a nuke and nuked london, wich forced the allies to agree to a 5 year ceasefire, I than got back to the soviet, nuked them 5 times, and started advancing because the soviets, are fanatic who will keep putting more men to the cannon fodder (AI logic geg), than I decided to keep pushing after colonising the east
Mind you when America was invading here are the state the advisor said to me: Current manpower: Allies: 12 million men, Axis: 8 million men, USSR: 7 million men (38 million men casulties) Airforce: Allies: Overwhelming, daily bombardement of our industries, Axis: High quality fighter Jets, quantity is low to challenge Allied air superiority, USSR: non existant
I feel like the allies just ignored Japan and focused solely on me, infact just after I launched the new final offensive to destroy the bolsheviks, an event popped out saying the american people are embarassed at the display against the germans and the nuking of London, that they want to sign peace with Japan and recontinue the war, like wtf?

Well, i've been a pax historia player for a fucking while now, whats the least dogshit models? as context on what i want i basically just want an AI thats realistic and has depth, bonus if it allows countries to act as their own and not as passive participants

I played Pro and its mediocre, will fuck up occasionally.

not super impressed with grok maybe i need to play for a few more rounds.

Gemini 3 is really good but i did the Math and every turn is .475 mix that with generating options which is .177 it's 652 it's fucking nearly a dollar a turn, i don't simply have that money

Gemini 2.5 is fucking ass. but i only tried it on one game.

Max is better than pro but not by much really, again its .343 a round and .173 to generate options so .516 a round its slightly cheaper than gemini 3


If there's AIs you want me to try out for you and give my opinion on I will do that. still i'm not super satisfied with this game despite my shilling of money towards it
