What makes a great incumbency CYOA mod?
Hundreds of questions giving a variety of playthroughs?
The ability to be everything from very conservative to very liberal as a candidate?
A challenge where everything goes wrong?
Being able to win despite whatever happens?
Making fun alt-history maps?
Lots of opponent combos?

>Labour update for UK redux
That was interesting, I like how choosing Lexiteer makes you campaign for Leave in the past rather then be neutral and vice versa. It makes sense why they kept May as a Remainer initially, however. I'm interested in the Liberal Democrats but I don't see how they could make that as diverse without replacing Farron. Brexiteer Lib Dems would be hilarious to write, I could see them offering a more traditional "Liberal Party" option rather then Lib Dem which could work with a Soft Brexit position. Personally I prefer leading roles in the cyoa sense, March on Washington was great and I'd like to see that replicated with British history perhaps through the July Crisis of The Great War.

Genuinely why are people so dramatic when it comes to Roosevelt and Wilson specifically? It is primarily Wilson is Satan and Roosevelt is Jesus but the other way around is just as dumb. How about treating them as historical figures without making retarded youtube drama out of it.
>>
>>2274119
Yep.
To get Wilson you need to increase tariffs and have Clark sink the Canada deal
To avoid a 3rd party bid by TR you need to win the primary and have 3 relationship points with the progressives.
So do everything to endear yourself to the progressives, raise tariffs, then talk with the prime minister of canada, and then win the primary.

>It is primarily Wilson is Satan and Roosevelt is Jesus but the other way around is just as dumb
I’d say it’s been more the other way around these last few years, in my experience at least. The shift to “Teddy BAD” came about three or four years ago when that statue of TR got removed from the New York Museum of Natural History after protests from Black Lives Matter and other groups, and Woodrow Wilson is too much of a literal who to those groups for them to give a fuck about him. The YouTube video criticizing Woodrow Wilson, which the one ending changes to make about TR, is from six years ago by contrast.
>How about treating them as historical figures without making retarded youtube drama out of it.
There's more wilson apologia. If TR gets killed by his german assassin, a movie ends up being made about TR that becomes that world’s equivalent of “Birth of a Nation”. The assassin gets retconned to be black in the movie and TR’s image in that timeline ends up becoming a symbol used by the ku klux klan in the 1910's and 20's

Pick court reform on the first two campaign stops (Nevada leans towards court reform so this helps) and otherwise pick more radical answers. Keeping the reformists happy doesn't matter because their base is in the East. Say that your plan is to win Nevada.

Is anyone else getting tired of incumbency sims? Ttnw and atw were cool but the ones that came after are Shit. Icarus was awful. the whole Greek myth parallel fell flat for me, it wasn’t clever and felt like it was written by a a 6th grader who just read Percy Jackson. The genre doesn’t fell unique anymore just slap some guy who was vaguely close to being president into office and just simulate what happend otl. Doesn’t help there’s a new Cyoa mod announcement every week.

At that point why not just exaggerate to the point of absurdity. This is a mock-up Ive had in mind taking place in the OBN timeline where Obama beat Trump in 2012 and then Biden won 2016 (against Trump again of course) causing such extreme fatigue you get this. Anachronistic you bet that's half the point. Won't expand upon it but I've had the idea for a few days now.

Obummer is a dumbass
>It was the one time President’s daughter Julie who got the last word though. In an emotional speech, where she often seemed on the verge of tears, the 75 year old told the crowd, “I wish I’d known what my father was going through. I wish I could go back and tell him that it would be alright, that no matter what he or his staff did, we could get through this together. Daddy, wherever you are, I love you.” She continued. “I hope you know I’ll never stop loving you.”

The most hilarious ending is when you win as Reagan and in the third slide he starts saying "Why doesn't the youth love us? We kill, murder and bomb our opponents but when we do it is good and when the enemy does it is bad" completely unironically without a hint of parody in the ending.

1860 Breckinridge is fun. Its an interesting exploration of the antiquated quirks of older American elections, without being too masturbatory and in your face about its unique mechanics. It also manages to be very gameplay focused without falling headfirst into Dan Bryan's type of bland writing. I wish there were more mods like this. I feel like every new mod ends up being some W. rip off multi opponent stuck in development hell extravaganza or a easily forgettable "Bryanesque" low effort affair.

No? The #2 most popular mod requires you to lose Vietnam to win it. Often your decisions are graded less off their logical consequences and more by whether or not the writer agrees with them. Not really sure why you're so hateful.
>>
>>2310862
>The #2 most popular mod requires you to lose Vietnam to win it
gee, idk, maybe cause that was an unwinnable war by that point or something and thatd be fucking stupid otherwise. I can't even back out of NAFTA in hope and you want to seriously get into the shit over it being a godsend for "diversity of playstyle". no wonder mango always retreats back to this community after he flops with new order/yippee all the time, its playerbase are this stupid
>>
>>2310872
Funny that the 4chan chud is repeating 1960s liberal myths on the war. If the war was ever winnable it wasn't by 1969, America had an enormous victory with repelling the Tet Offensive. And yeah, Hope lets you play Clinton's presidency in a variety of believable (not pulling out of NAFTA when Clinton campaigned on it) ways from basically a Republican to progressive. That's good, par for the course for an in-depth incumbency sim but maintaining logical coherence and not beating you over the head with a political message while doing it is what sticks out for me.
>>
>>2310877
*unwinnable
Whether rural Vietnam would have ever accepted a South Vietnamese state that they saw as a French imperial successor is obviously another question. But one that goes back to the 1950s, not "that point."

>not pulling out of NAFTA when Clinton campaigned on it

Another point against it is that it doesn't seem to understand why Rabin got assassinated to begin with. Israeli voters didn't "choose vengeance" by electing the candidate more aligned with Rabin's assassin.
>>
>>2313575
>Israeli voters didn't "choose vengeance" by electing the candidate more aligned with Rabin's assassin.
"choose vengeance" is in reference to the 1996 Jaffa Road bus bombings and Dizengoff Center suicide bombing by Hamas, not the assassination of Rabin by an Israeli extremist.
>>
>>2313575
why are there three whole questions dedicated to Rabin while we're on the subject? we shouldn't have a question dedicated to his assassination as it means fuck all towards anything and Clinton's involvement with him ended with the Oslo Accords, but worse yet you can get Colin Powell after Rabin is killed and Powell not entering the race was for big reason BECAUSE Rabin was assassinated and it spooked him
without much contest, Hope is the sloppiest and shittiest mod I think i've seen out of this game, but sloppy in the way if you know history you'd have problems with it, if you're clueless it'd be peachy, so I can see why the reddit loves it. so sick of this game, every mod that comes out now is just "republican bad" and "nato good" unquestioningly. jesus christ what a downfall

I think a lot of younger devs don't care enough to figure out the music that people were actually listening to during the time and place that their mod is set (old Billboard charts are not hard to find). TTNW is a funny mod because Mango and his team use RFK to push their beliefs forward despite them making the mod be about "your legacy will be used to push forward bad ideas". Then again killing Wallace doesn't lock you out of Accomplishment so maybe Mango and his team approve of fascism when done on acceptable targets.
>>
>>2313903
Mango is right about Hope. T b h the main problem with Mango's various attacks on other mods isn't really that they're wrong, its that he very blatantly plays favorites and ignores or outright defends shitty mods made by his friends while dogging on mods made by people he doesn't like. His staunch defense of Regime Change is probably the most obvious example, and ATW and AC hare filled with the dogshit that other bad cyoa mods have but Mango never says shit about them lol.

Moonbeam is a truly incredible achievement in the modern tct community. Somehow the devs have figured out how to create a CYOA mod without the required incumbencyslop angle. theres an entire ending for Project 2024 from the Astro stream he did last month thats just the W team jerking themselves off and where the Trump government takes down Project 2024 from the website because its just that revolutionary and bold, like when Colbert got cancelled.
which is rich considering they've gone out of their way to remove mods from the website themselves that they didn't like. they need to pretend their mods get backlash when everyone on the subreddit routinely jerks them off so they have to invent their own critics in their mods

I like it in both and respect ATW for starting it, but honestly prefer Hope's. ATW has too many one term Presidents followed immediately by someone from the same party, and many of the choices feel random. The latter is an issue in Hope as well but I see more future Presidents directly connected to the winner, like Mary Bono after a Sonny Bono landslide.
Both mods let you make a more conservative or liberal Democratic and Republican Party based on your choices, deviations from that feel about equal.

Wallace is an old meme in the community, Nelson Rockefeller is an old fixation but '70s Rockefeller Republicans have for the most part gone from worshiped to hated over time. The Ted Kennedy thing is new and mainly due to one Discord user, the Carey one is only from New Yorkers.

Lmao what are those awards
>Astro getting all 3 best moder awards
The fuck?
>Our Revolution getting best alt-hist
WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING??? You literally gave an award to March on Washington for its lore, not to mention other alt-hist mods on the list. How did this lazy ass "What if Bernie but actually its Biden" shit with awful overengineered mechanics got anything???
>Best Gameplay for Icarus
Oh I see, so the way to win best gameplay is to just do a lot of hahafunni CRT monitor NATOWAVE gifs.
>>
Hope is very cool mechanically but when it comes to the writing it's absurd dogshit, worst characterisation of Bill Clinton i've ever seen. Where's that entire part where Clinton had to defend himself from the rape allegations that came up from his years as governeror? you can end the war on drugs?? as BIll Clinton??? the man that was so pro death Penalty he flew back to Arkansas mid campaign to assure that a guy was going to get executed???? and despite all of this you can still get supermajority shit, honestly just really weird. the good part are the foreign relations decisions, those are rather well written, but everything else is awful.

>Where's that entire part where Clinton had to defend himself from the rape allegations that came up from his years as governeror?
Depending on your answers/variable scores, there’s a question you can get specifically about the Paula Jones allegations
>>
>>
>>2320581
Clinton's sex scandals were a second term thing, Paula Jones' case was treated as minor in 1996. It didn't reach the Supreme Court until a year later and "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" was '98, you can do it early in the mod.
>>
>>2320219
those awards are voted on by Reddit bottomfeeders so the results will be ass I ignore them. But yeah especially the Our Revolution win (best althist? Fuck outta here. Try worst mod of the year) and 3 straight Astro wins (he’s not a good writer and definitely not the fucking best lmfao, and awarding the best coder award to him over that guy who invented a save game for Obamanation and that margin pop up feature for little big man is a joke, what did Astro code that was groundbreaking?) is all pretty delegitimizing. Or it would be if it had any to begin with lel

Its an interesting showcase of just how stratified the community is between the reddit and the discord server. Like the average person on the tct reddit probably doesn't even know who Mango is, much less the guy that made little big man. Most of them just vote for astro because hes like the only community figure thats easily visible on the reddit.
>>
>>2320826
Forget groundbreaking, I can't remember the last time I played an Astro mod and was even slightly impressed. At their best his mods partly copy Dan Bryan and partly copy the W. team and throw in some self satisfied libisms (such as astro's hate boner for teddy roosevelt). At their worst they just copy Dan Bryan with the previously mentioned added libisms. Its a shame because 1800's to early 1900's are a very obviously neglected period, and basically the only one making mods in that timeframe are astro and the occasional autists like that dude that made the breckinridge 1860 mod (which was quite good)

it's not a "false dichotomy". the population can be divided into constructivists (left) and essentialists (right).
Of course, some people are normies who don't think about politics in terms of policy but rather as a kind of soap opera. but they don't count.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>2321421
There are some inconsistencies, also with occasionally portraying TR's economic plan accurately as to the left of Wilson's and sometimes as to his right. But you can appeal to progressives as Taft by campaigning against eugenics, it makes zero sense.
>>2321392
Postmodern constructivists can be very far-right, iirc Dugin is one. Center-left essentialists are actually pretty common, a lot of science/tech people and liberals who have problems with woke culture.
>>
>>2321315
even taking into account Astro is a longtime presence, it doesn't take any effort from the perspective of your average Redditard to at least notice the little big man guy, since they post semi-frequently to there. they made an entire post announcing they managed to figure out how to add a save game feature for Obamanation like a month or so ago. the continued ignorance of the Reddit/tct playerbase in passing up promising and talented newcomers so they can glaze the same oldheads like Astro who are churning out the bare minimum at half the output they used to is a disgrace and is probably going to kill the community longterm
>>
What is worse, Astro feeling a sense of accomplishment because he won reddit polls or all of you discussing it at length for multiple days?
Who gives a fuck? It's a fun game and I like playing mods. I like history and politics and I genuinely learn from some of the mods I play.

This isn't even a statement worth thinking, let alone putting out into the world. You could have done anything, anything in the world, and yet you chose to waste some of the most precious time you have remaining on this earth on typing such a pointless, banal, and vapid post. Nobody will remember this post in an hour, let alone the rest of your no doubt wasted life. I hope you take a long look at your life, not just your external failures but also your internal vices and shortcomings, and discover what lead you to this point.

Wallace can win outright in ATW and there's a special ending'
1. Humphrey needs to be nominated.
2. Tap Alioto for Veep.
3. Drop Alioto for Muskie.
4. On the last question regarding Wallace's huge surge, select the answer where you give up and go to Minnesota.

Astro made a giant post trying to defend it and pretended like everyone missed the point. No, everyone understood the message, the mod was just dogshit. Same creator obummer later released the Pete mod with the endings everyone thought was trash, he crashed out over that and called everyone too stupid to appreciate it.
obummer is one of those mod makers that has been releasing a lot of shit lately but gets coddled cause Astro and Mango include him in their club.

Whatever obvious bts beef was taking place was pretty funny. Mango, who bullies everyone in the community regularly and without consequence, needed to drop that Project 2024 update/resignation post on the same day the update dropped just as an excuse to publicly bemoan the Obamanation dev team's light mockery of him and milk some pity off it rofl.

Hope shouldve been Obamanation but with Bill Clinton, it wouldve been kino. Killing Vince Foster like Obama can kill Scalia, ignoring Hillary like Obama can ignore Michelle while you get bjs from Monica, Jeffrey Epstein in place of Farrakhan. Missed opportunity.

"HOW?!' Is what every single man, woman, and child are asking themselves as they see that somehow, you Strom Thurmond with a popular vote total at less than 20% have managed to capture the Presidency. It seems your choice to take on the leader of conservatives in congress paid off after all. You and Byrd thanks to his resources and your brilliant tactics have managed to capture the ultimate prize! Already you're receiving calls from both Wallace and Taft who's sounds of gritting teeth are like music to your ears. The sheer concept that you a Third Party and one that began only two years ago able to capture the presidency is just unbelievable.
This win has just surged the S.R.P to becoming the dominant party in the nation, already you're seeing impressive ballot gains in Dixie and even some states' rights oriented Democrats and Republicans have announced their defection over to your party. While you won't win a majority or even a plurality in either chamber, now you have the momentum to do so in the next four years as you take charge of the nation. The first thing on your list will be to stop any sort of electoral reform and these riots springing up at the word of your victory. As you stand at Fort Sumter where the first battle for true states' rights was commenced, a light shines down from heaven itself, as some of history's greatest men thank you from the realm of heaven. Robert E. Lee, Jefferson Davis, and of course John Wilkes Booth.

Calm down. Republicans routinely win elections in my timeline. I can give you several examples. 2000. 2008, 2012. Ross Perot wins in 1992 and 1996 with his vice president of Donald Trump. 1980, 1984, and 1988 are all good for Republicans. I try not to do deadlocks because they really go off the charts.

They still are friends in this timeline, with Rarick even endorsing Duke in the second round. However this premise mostly hinges around George Wallace running as the AIP candidate in 1972 instead of running in the Democratic Party primary from the get-go. This means the American Independent Party is much more stronger. Duke ever more the anti establishment man, forms his own political party, so the American Independent party does nominate Rarick to punish Duke somewhat. I think it is notable, that in Virginia (1973) the commander of the American Nazi party, does won the governorship thanks to AIP. Just a lot of people on the right do oppose them because they do fight against the Republicans in some aspect.

Currently I'm working on a 1972 mod, and this is where the timeline really starts. Nixon will not be playable (there's literally a bunch of mods when he is playable) and Gus Hall will not be playable. (you can play as him in 1972d) You will be able to play as George Wallace, Henry Jackson, or the Trotskyist girl. If the mod has more time in the works, there might be CYOA mechanics, where you can play as another Democrat or American Independent. I'm not going to over promise.

F. Scott Fitzgerald was an intellectual in our timeline, his father was a Republican, though Fitzgerald himself was a Democrat that criticized capitalism. In the 1940 election he ran got the support of a lot of small parties that were against communism. (The communists won the last presidential election in 1936) He got second place in the popular vote, but after seeing dismal results, he shot himself with a handgun he had. I based that off Pierre Bérégovoy, who after losing the 1993 French elections killed himself.

These areas are the most hard hit by the Great depression, they also were not really treated very well when Roosevelt came into power, and his programs did not work as well as they could have. The programs that the previous communist administration has done actually benefited the South really well. Also there's this thing called Louisianaism which is basically communism and neoconfederatism put together.

Chris Chanson becomes famous for revealing the names of every single pedophile in the United States government and having the ones who don't flee the US in time rounded up and publicly executed. He is tried as a war criminal, but vigilantes storm the Supreme Court, killing 2 of the 9 Justices in the process, and declare Chanson the newest President. President Chanson continues his descent into global infamy by attempting to conquer Sweden to have full access to the Large Hadron Collider to fulfill his father's dream of the completing the dimensional merge.
>>
>>2325171
Not bad work, my friend.
In my personal head canon, somehow, someway, Chris Chan probably gets Flutter pregnant. He is determined by the Commonwealth of Virginia to be unfit to take care of a child, due to a lack of steady income, and I mean, his house, ew. The child is put into a foster home, white knights and weirdo enablers on the internet, help Chris get back custody of his son, Reginald. The state finds evidence of severe neglect happening to the poor kid. Eventually Chris Chan dies, and Reginald becomes an older adult. blah blah he eventually runs for us president and wins. He distances himself from his father's shenanigans, while painting himself in a sympathetic light. He runs a right-wing administration that is accused by international observers of democratic backsliding. YMMV. (he's no hitler imho, he's closer to Bukele in El Salvador, but somewhat different)

I think its vendetta vs the mods themes being so antithetical to the average TCTer. Because the accusations are extremely overblown. Sadly the original post of them was removed and all that remains is a dead URL to the discord screenshots (and internet archive only saved the plaintext, not images of that doc), however as I recall, the age difference was fucking laughable, think it was like 16yo victim and 19yo "groomer", mayve even less than that. Meanwhile the convos were less grooming and more the kind of cringe shit you'd expect from a sexually desperate autist. Disturbing, creepy and indicative of an unwell character yes, but pedofilic? Hell, I geniuenlly saw more disturbing student couples in my highschool than this trainwreck. Not to mention, this was only 1 guy out of the team of 3, and from the few posts that remain, there still is a post from a different contributor stating that the creep got kicked out, but that MTO won't try to get the mod back up unless the victim feels comfortable with it. So then what could other reasons be for the purge? Well, AO3 ending probably isn't it knowing TTNW and Moonbeam can have stuff like that just fine. No. The issue was that the mod, just like RFKs poverty tour in TTNW, penetrated the pristine lives of YIMBY neolibs on TCT. It dared suggest that Biden is a flip-flopping rotten piece of shit via an integrated video of his own speeches. It called out the entire US project as a Babylonian monstrosity. It refused to portray Russia as any more evil than NATO. And if one is lacking in basic reading comprehension (as could be easily gleamed from the way redditors interpret most mods), it could be mistaken as an endorsment of populist rightwing politics of Eastern Europe and denouncment of pro-European liberalism. In short, it made average TCT user or modder feel like a bad person and thus it had to be destroyed by hook or by crook.
>>
Of all the things to happen to TCT in 2025, All The Way's president wikibox is the worst. ATW is a great mod, but fuck me is that mechanic cancerous. Red meat for redditor clapping seals who get excited for seeing a random technocrat win in 19XX, just the absolute lowest form of ending slide content one can cook up. But hey, look how much code Hope has for its variable wikibox, isn't that cool? We will now make posts daily about how Glib Shitto of 28th Burgerreich district had two consecutive turns! True slop right here.
>>
>>
>>2328457
I thought it was great in All The Way. Though I think Hope having it speaks to how there's lots of modmakers who can't really come up with novel ideas themselves. See all those ending slides that are evoking W.'s but are way more awkward.
>>
>>2328537
It takes up space for something better, not to mention how bugprone it is (iirc its the only buggy part of ATW), and the crazy amount of code for it in Hope shows it ate up a lot of devtime.
>>2328584
It was good for certain paths to show your impact on the political landscape, but that was mainly for specific paths that overturn it completely, like landslide McCarthy, LBJ-FDR or the one where LBJ shoots himself. But for most it was just... eh? It doesn't provide much narrative depth or emotional impact, and mostly just ends up being only slightly more impactful than your EV count that redditors love to brag abouy.
Speaking of death if creativity, and bringing it back to precious Razistorija, I don't get why more mods don't do pretentious book quotes as an additional ending slide. Oh, right, its because TCTers are too illiterate to be making or understanding refrences to Borges.
>>
>>2328455
>Moonbeam
Albeit they did just get bullied into making notable changes to it
>The issue was that the mod, just like RFKs poverty tour in TTNW, penetrated the pristine lives of YIMBY neolibs on TCT
The Poverty Tour is supposed to be a bad thing according to the W. clique because you’re being performative and contributing to your cult of personality without actually getting anything done (really they just hate that RFK supported Community Development Corporations in real life instead of work-free welfare). You notably can’t get the “happy ending” if you do it
>It dared suggest that Biden is a flip-flopping rotten piece of shit via an integrated video of his own speeches
I don’t buy this being a factor at all because the clique despises him and Biden is perpetually getting shit on in the tct sub for those exact things like busing, never mind that his position was identical to their savior Bernie back then. If anything that integrated video would’ve only endeared them to the mod, not driven them away. It’s the standard, not the exception
>It called out the entire US project as a Babylonian monstrosity. It refused to portray Russia as any more evil than NATO
Now this actually makes sense because even Astro flopped hard when he tried that “you’re not playing it right!” shtick with Regime Change and you know he wasn’t about to put all that effort in a second time for some new guy
>>
>>
>>
>>2328455
The TCT leadership doesn't actually care about pedophilia so the reasons stated for its removal are dubious. The creator of the 1824 mod is a self-confessed pedophile who has openly debated the age of consent with people and is banned from certain sections of the fandom beyond the Reddit and Discord, but he's allowed to post mods to the loaders and remain on the main channel Discord (allegedly because he is friends with the channel owner). There's likely another factor in it having been blacklisted as it was, possibly for reasons purely political.
>>
>>2329220
Could be. If it was allowed to stay up, it would have wiped the noses of most other mods and would have been a competitive pick for mod of the year. And it would definetly have rubbed some egos the wrong way to be outdone by a bunch of nobodies with an international mod. The mod is easy to paint as "disturbing", so hey presto - a reason to redact it from existence.
>>
>>2329268
Undoubtedly. It no doubt would’ve taken the place of Our Revolution (lol) and that astroturfed Icarus garbage (funny how a grossly pro NATO mod gets jerked off so hard in this community, but a nuanced one on the subject is painted as uniquely evil) had it stuck around, but like everywhere else it’s about who you know and the creators clearly didn’t have the right connections.
>>
>>
>>2329276
I still have respect for Icarus. Its stupid, but its also a very nice middle finger to Our Revolution type mods. Its just an unabashed powerfantasy that lets you do what you want to do without beating you over the head with razor thin margins or shitty CYOA that needs stat minmaxing. Granted, it already was done way fucking better by TTNW, a mod where you can fuck everything up and both succeed AND have fun.

I meant TTNW2. Anyway, to contribute more thoughts for my mistake, I'll say this - it feels too preachy, and this is coming from a Razistorija-stan leftie. Sure, Church would have been based if elected, but the whole thing feels like "and then everyone clapped". It definetly has Obummers dirty fingers all over it with those extra-swingy and generous popularity boosts for picking the "right" option. Granted, there's nothing wrong with that - it works very well for a more CYOA mod like More Than Ever, but when you seemingly only get one end slide for winning, it leaves me with a sense of "ok I did the thing, bye". Hopefully upon more playthroughs I'll find some special ending, like that Nixon suicide one in More Than Ever, that will make it up.

Holy shit you're right, even in the Ford side it's all endless talk about glazing her. I mean she's a good person and all but wouldn't America look over her standing up to Nixon and just concentrate on the fact she's black AND a lesbian??

You're mentally ill and you degrade the quality of the thread. Not to mention that you've wasted like 50 posts and we are now at bump limit because you had a public meltdown over shit I won't pretend I read or care about.

Rumsfeld is a secret vp pick you get by choosing Bill Simon and then dumping him which is neat. As for the rest of the mod, ui is very cool but everything else feels extremely half baked. The achievements imply that a Reagan and Humphrey path exists but both of those just instantly end the game with no achievement gained, you can get HHH to win without cheating but that gives you no achievement either. The writing is all purple prose which is how every new mod is now and no unique ending for each candidate, Ford's win is copy and pasted to Church's loss slide. It's not a bad mod and I like that it exists but it's just so lackluster once you get past the neat aesthetic.

UI is great, the themes of paranoia and loss of trust in American institutions is interesting, but the substance of the mod is severely lacking. Halfway through it seems to reveals its basic premise to be some kind of trojan horse for a Barbara Jordan fanwank. All in all very strange mod. I wonder if it will lead to redditors obsessing over a literally who black lesbian from the 70's.

>search Barbara Jordan on the discord
>pretty much nobody has brought her up until today for obvious reasons
>two of the only mentions of her before the mod released are by people that worked on the mod who were bringing her up unprompted years ago
The underlying obsession with Barbara Jordan is honestly way more interesting than the mod itself.

Thank you very much.
Using Pastebin should work, all you have to do is go to https://pastebin.com/ copy the text in and send the link, if you have any other preferred file sharing sites of a similar nature those would be ok instead.
