Yes, I agree that there are many borrowings from other works: Red Alert 3 and Command and Conquer 4, as well as Dota 2 and others.

Also the secret of dealing with russian AI in ROTR is anti-air units and detectors for Boris, also maybe few air units to snipe artillery but you can pretty much just melt through golems and sentinels with a bunch of quads for example and kill the arty

Sounds about right, I do like the resurrection mod in RA3 with their Futuretech Faction, and then using limited Tiberium fields instead of the usual Ore Mine Collection Sites. It's very scifi and it reminds me of pic related, the add-on faction of Japan for ROTR, and I especially love how their secondary economy (compared to GLA's Black Market and Bounties, USA's Supply Center cargo and Supply Drop Zones, Mainland Hackers, ECA Telecom Towers, and Federation Arms Dealers) the add-on Japanese faction uses a deployable ore drill that periodically extracts gold from the surface, allowing resource gatherers to collect them and that's pretty insanely cool.

MO looks like they greatly exaggerate those notorious qualities of their depiction of the mainland, compared to the real life mainland. In fairness, if we saw that in the prologue that the mainland had possessed allied tech, then I'd believe the mainland is part of the allies. I'd honestly would like to see if there's a Chinese Taipei-led faction in CnC, because seeing those mods base the mainland being soviet industrial in nature, then Chinese Taipei would probably be sleek like MO Pacific Front or RotE Japan. Also, what would the faction aesthetics of Chinese Taipei look like?

Giving it another thought, if China in Omega was Allied Nation like in original RA2, i could see them either supplementing or replacing the Pacific Front entirely, maybe as an Asian-Pacific-Allience from Generals 2 in the name, as for units and tech they could go heavy on mirage tech and gap generators, they could utilize upgrade logic from TS on their production structures so for example they will have an MBT for each tech tier if keep upgrading

Also i don't get RA3 Resurrection, it uses a name of a long-dead mod from which MO got a bunch of ideas, and it has... Both the Eastern Long China and Generals 2 China? But hey, at least someone made Future Tech from that old Resurrection, as well as Yuri from Synergy mod playable

It's most likely a patchwork worldbuild with all the other factions just duking it out in their respective skirmishes. Regardless, I like how that mod was able to replicate the Generals building style, and having more construction units to build at a construction site, the building gets built faster.

Yeah, and my favorite part of the mod is when the construction unit is like a floating fortress. The corona mod earlier was novel in having a flying mcv / support crawler hybrid, but its downside is that it's treated like a hero unit / superweapon, so building more than 1 of them is a no-go. So far, the futuretech faction, pretty awesome - upgrade their conyard to tier 4, and it's basically like a flying battlecruiser, much like those gdi kodiaks and nod basilisks and gla airships.
