It's a perfectly fine RTS.
Which failed financially, because it actually had deception as part of the game and gameplay, so 90% of RTS audience could be outsmarted by actual tactics and some strategic planning, rather than outplayed by resources allocation... and thus declared the game bad

i love this game, have over 1,000 hours in multiplayer but its a mess. Something i loved about ruse is that it managed to make infantry and cheap artillery/AT units useful in the mid/late game with concealment and pincer tactics but then they added the retarded super pershing with the super heavy HE cannon that goes medium tank speeds which ruins the balance of the game. Air also has some fundamentally broken elements to it but not as bad. If they let it cook in the oven a little longer and maybe added some navy it would easily be one of the goats

I really only renumber this game because it was advertised alongside this touch-screen table.

To this day I haven't heard anything about this device or if it was ever used for any other game.

I think they're called interactive tables. A few companies offer them.

Still heartbreaking it got taken off of Steam like so many other underrated titles. At least Gaben didn't snatch the copy I got beforehand.

i dont think eugen will ever be successful because they just refuse to advertise/market their games

I remember this being really hyped but the release version got savage reviews.
I assumed it was a failure.

Until recently Eugene had a track record of good or just decent games being review bombed by genuine fucking retards for pettiest or dumbest or of reasons, but the last game they released was WARNO and its genuinely sucks dick

i really liked the setting and aesthetic of the game, but was a bit disappointed that urban combat was limited to a one-trick infantry ambush. Like if there were some more plazas or roads with for a bit of push and shove, with more degrees of ambush, hiding tanks from aerial scouting and the sort
But, then again, the game is very big on momentum, wheras urban combat is such a slog, and so it wouldn't really line up with the expectations. Still, there aren't any benefits to controlling a city, not even a tiny supply trickle, that could help out

I wish there was a good observer mode to just watch the battles unfold, it's quite comfy. Sucks that legal keys are $250

People wanted to get 2nd Supreme Commander
They've got CoH with a tactical layer to it.
So they threw a temper tantrum and review-bombed it.
Then what >>2329302 said happened and the MP got deserted.

>supply trickle from cities
neat idea, like $1 every 15 seconds from each city

I remember playing it on my XBOX, it was quite neat. But sad there's very few copies now.
