First act is paced well. Second act is a bit fast with a lot happening. Ending is a bit hamfisted imo to wrap everything up in a feel good way even though there wasn't any logical build up to it. Miko herself said that she has been harassed and slandered for years before she spoke up last year and that had no obvious impact on her streaming hours or on-stream temperament.

Compare that to this Arima thing. She got an aversion to streaming that is slowly receding. She kept the c-parts short and somewhat formal early on. During her return stream she took a while to warm up and talk about what she did during her break instead of coming with cool stories to tell like she usually does.

The main difference I see is that the fans usually treated antis as idiots acting up, but this time around sided with them. There were some 35P throwing Miko under the bus and demanding she apologized or taking the middle ground and agreeing with antis’ talking points but at least showing support for Miko.

This time around Miko no longer had a safe space in her own fandom so she retreated into herself, her family and her friends. This was a big fuck up by the fandom and, speaking selfishly, we’re lucky she has such a strong support network.
