I never really understood this "gilrs like assholes" axiom, but I kinda get it now. It was a cute moment, the way they bickered before the cord gifting, the way she punched his back. It's almost like romcom manga page, I can see it in my head. That ship is sailing.

Next episode if we're following the champions, looking for their missing band member, we're definitely getting the lore and character development. Aside from Stiorra and her confession, I hope and pray Solomon tells Eliza that he heard the voice calling him to battle, which, I hope and pray, will prompt her to drop her guard and tell him that she heard the voice too, that told her different things. Solomon still doesn't know about that.

Also, the flame changing colors when Stiorra told the creation myth. Mothers are color-coded and I think this is important.
Eliza sees blue flame guiding her, that's Runva, representing, you guessed it, fire. Sun, light, heat, magma and lava, change. Much like the ray of sunshine, Eliza herself.
What did Guin say about her getting out of the caves? That a thread guided her out. Well, Ventia has a thread, and she represents meaning, knowledge, purpose. Guin is researching the blight, documenting stuff, seeking knowledge and understanding. Ventia's color is purple. Guin's eyes are purple.
If I have to stretch, I'd say that Dahlia is for Orva - green and water/oceans, and Yulena for Stiorra - yellow force of primordial creation.
