This is simply stupid. It doesn't even look cool, which would be the only point of designing buildings like that.

This is on a shoreline and there are normal buildings next to it, so it's not like it was shaped like that to overcome uneven terrain.

One thing is true though, the ocean view has to be great from the inside.
