Yes. Also, you're not supposed to have perfect perspective on a field painting.

He actually wasn't a failed artist. He made a living selling paintings, that's how he was able to travel all around Germany debating people and eventually amassing a following since he came from poverty. The whole reason he even got into politics was because to get his art into museums he needed to be a graduate of art school, but he got rejected because they had diversity quotas to make. After that he started looking around for a different field to get into, which is when he realized they were all messed up, so then he started trying to get to the bottom of how it all got messed up.

>diversity quotas
>in the 1900's
Dude, he applied just 2 years after all men got the right to vote, forget diversity quotas, at that point half the universities would tell you to get fucked IF you were any kind of diversity
Hitlers problem was that he applied to the best art school in the country, that had several applicants for a spot, and then was surprised he came in the middle of the pack
He could easily get accepted into one of the less prestigious art schools after a year or two of training (maybe even right away), given that he actually improved over the time, his later works being a lot better than the ones from the time he applied

his history with art should have been framed as "art school would not have been right for him" you think someone like this would gain anything from early 1900s art school? Picasso was probably already masturbating to his pointy elbows already.
you can tell from >>8123625 that his focus isn't on greenery, nor even on capturing architectural beauty, just the semblance of rigidity and structure. look at how haphazardly he's placed all the little dormer vents on the roof, even a roof overhang that blocks part of a window. it's pretty clear he just saw painting as another profession rather than a higher calling. There's no shame in that, especially back then when you could do postcards and advertisements and make out great, but hitlet fell for the "you must get a degree" meme 100 years ago.
You have to remember that Duchamp's urinal was only a decade away. the world Hitler knew was leaving him behind. that was the real self portrait.

It was his dream. Pic related from Mein Kampf.

I'm not going to pretend like I'm some kind of genius artist or whatever. Hitler obviously painted far better than me. That being said, as far as professional artists go (ESPECIALLY ones that specialize in Architecture) Hitler was far below average. He really just didn't understand perspective at all. Your image is probably the least shitty painting he made, which is likely why it's used so often.
Adolf Hitler was rejected from the most prestigious art school in Austria by an academic who was unquestionably reactionary and despised everything about non-traditional art. This was not some kind of slight against him in particular, he was not rejected because they only wanted Marxists who painted abstract depictions of synagouges. He simply wasn't good enough to be accepted into the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts. He could have gotten into a different college, but not that one. If he wanted to get in with paintings of Architecture, he was going to need to distinguish himself from everybody else who was doing the exact same thing. The only way he could do that is if he had extreme technical skill. He did not.
But for Hitler it was either the top or nothing at all, so he quit painting. This actually didn't play a major role in his life, he pretty much never brought it up after he got into politics.
Ultimately, I really don't see the appeal. Even ignoring the war that he started that killed tens of millions of people, and the Holocaust, and the political repression, and the uncountable war crimes committed under his leadership, he wasn't really a good artist. Or an author, as he would admit himself, but that's a different story.

>he was a (bad ) artist who never got the training he needed but couldve been great, but the art school said no
oh the mental gymnastics, you can pick one and only one.
he did fine by high school standards, so you better pick the right one.
btw, the holocaust thing, it would do you good to read up on it on /pol/. Shit never happened. If they couldnt cremate the bodies fast enough during covid, neither could hitler.

These are BORING! Only the castle one is cool and thats just because the castle itself is cool. He didn't even paint it THAT great... Pathetic. He'd maybe make good post cards. As for art school? No wonder he failed!
Also OP. Post 3 next time FAGGOT!

He was not a good artist when compared to other artists, especially the kind of artists that were getting accepted into the University of Fine Arts in Vienna. He was good compared to the average faggot, but that's a very low bar. If we judge artists based on how they compare in skill to a regular person, then furry artists are Picasso-level. We don't, so Hitler is a bad artist. I never claim in my post that Hitler was a good artist. He was not. I never made any contradictory claims in my post.
>He did fine by High School Standards
Not really, no.
>it would do you good to read up on it on /pol/
Someday, you will be raped. Somebody will show up on the street and start raping your asshole. Onlookers will ignore your screams for help simply because they can smell that you deserve it for being an insufferable faggot. This is not a threat or a prediction, it is a promise.
I have read, very extensively, the arguments of Holocaust deniers. Not once have they brought forth anything convincing.
>If they couldnt cremate the bodies fast enough during covid, neither could hitler
Not all victims of the Holocaust were cremated. Many were buried in pits that are still being found to this day. Not only that, but the cremation the Nazis did was not regular cremation like you see in a fucking morgue. Bodies are supposed to be cremated one at a time so ashes don't end up being a mixture of multiple people, and at a particularly high temperature to incinerate all of the remains. The Nazis just tossed as many bodies as possible into ovens. Somewhere between 3 to 4 million people were cremated over a 4 year period across a multitude of enormous complexes of extermination camps operating at a high efficiency. Third world Africans killed half a million people in 100 days with machetes, it's arguably Anti-White to suggest that the Nazis couldn't kill more with far more resources at their disposal and in a much longer period of time.

This is the gayest post I think I have ever read. The countries where it was -proven- to not have ever been death chambers are now no longer considered death chambers, and the ones who did the questioning are serving prison sentences. The only places left, are places where it is a prison sentence if you question it publicly.
>Many were buried in pits that are still being found to this day.
yea, due to a typhoid epidemic crossed with Allies bombing the train food supply lines. All the other "mass graves" were proven to not exist, via Ground Penetrating Radar.

You're lying. You know how I know? Because at the end of the war, the worldwide number of jewish people went UP not down, and you can place it PERFECTLY on a chart with how many people it should have increased during the war. To double down on this fact, the imported number of jewish people went up in the exact same amounts based on the country that they fled to. Also, there is no way ebil naztis who apparently were smart enough to invent UFO saucer tech couldnt figure out how to cremate bodies (which dont burn well btw, its like trying to continuously burn fatty grease in a giant pile.)
Oh and one last thing, all those photos of skinny starved jews that are dead, ive got bad news. Gassing doesnt make you skinny. It also doesnt make you blue, zyklon b makes you turn red because your body cant process the oxygen it gets from the air.

Anyone with a internet connection can go to their website and see that your full of shit, 75% are on par with hitlers paintings, the remaining 25% being better or worse.

It is well accepted that his art was technically competent. The issue is that it was boring relative to the changes and trends in the art scene at the time. Meaning he wouldn't really have a future with the art he was making.
However, recognizing his talents, the dean/headmaster/ I can't remember his title, recommended him for the school of architecture given Hitlers preference for landscapes and cityscapes.
However, Architecture isn't just about aesthetically pleasing structures - there needs to be some functional engineering behind them. Thus the school of architecture required a certificate from the technical school - and they required Hitlers transcripts basically.
Mixed with the weird sister-school relation that German educational institutions had at the time plus Hitler tanking his grades to avoid his dad being able to force him to be a civil servant all kind of fucked him.
This idea that he sucked at art is just vilification. Arguably unnecessary because the Hitler gets into art school reality would have saved millions.

What? Are you fucking ESL? Are you trying to say that there are countries where Holocaust denial is banned and there aren’t gas chambers in those countries? Not all of the camps had gas chambers, it was mainly reserved for the camps in the east where the bulk of the Jews were.
>yea, due to a typhoid epidemic crossed with Allies bombing the train food supply lines. All the other "mass graves" were proven to not exist, via Ground Penetrating Radar.
I’d love to hear where you learned this extremely obvious lie
>You're lying. You know how I know? Because at the end of the war, the worldwide number of jewish people went UP not down, and you can place it PERFECTLY on a chart with how many people it should have increased during the war.
Are you fucking kidding me? Honestly, is this a bit? The Jewish population decreased massively during WWII, there’s literally 0 truth to your claim. The Jewish population then briefly increased with the baby boom, but is actually still lower than it was before WWII.
>there is no way ebil naztis who apparently were smart enough to invent UFO saucer tech couldnt figure out how to cremate bodies
…what?
>Oh and one last thing, all those photos of skinny starved jews that are dead, ive got bad news. Gassing doesnt make you skinny
Do you actually believe the official narrative of the Holocaust is that the victims became skinny as a result of being gassed? At first the “Are you fucking with me” thing was a bit but now that I’ve finished reading your post, I’m pretty convinced you’re trolling.

I do think that people have a tendency to exaggerate the flaws in his art simply because he’s such an evil person, but I still wouldn’t say that it was “Technically impressive”.

Journey to /pol/ for your answer, unless youre a shill in which case i hope you cry in your pillow tonight kek
Try this. The newspapers were crying "muh 6 million" in quite a few countries, as far back as 1890. newspapers, of course, owned by jewish owners. refute that, and ill acknowledge your response.
>>8129599
>cattle slave who doesnt understand art
imagine being so hung up on evil hitler that you actually believe the trash that pours out of your own mouth. his art wasn't terrible, and much of that art from that same period is equally shit or worse. if it wasnt, you wouldve posted it as a wallpaper.
