I've defiled the image of God within myself. I once mourned over this, following a period of spiritual desolation which forced me to eventually address it. I felt pain of heart then, and whatever progress I made, I can say for sure it was true repentance, but I fell from this. I returned to a sin that felt like to "unrepent" and I never truly got up since, maybe because I wasn't partaking in the spiritual medicine truly needed to address it. I've fallen back so much further though. I feel at square one.

Sometimes I have a sensation which almost feels like I want to recoil from myself, though this thought feels almost more like a temptation.

I have this weird issue I've CONTINUALLY noticed, where I read things, and in my first glance, perceive something negative. To give an example, I just read a post that said "pray for me". When I glanced at it I saw "don't pray for me". Weird and cruel things like that. I read a post in response to me here on 4chan where an Anon thanked me for a little bit of advice and when I glances I read "kill yourself". I've only had this happen recently. It's happenned enough times that it's strange. It's one thing to just missready things. I've always done this, but the conveiniently negative "missreads", ones I couldn't even recreate, is almost the opposite of miraculous. I've never had a problem of halucinating, but it kind of seems like where my eyes aren't focused, my mind starts to take precedence in it's surroundings. I can't help but notice this happen now and again, and when it does happen I always feel a subtle sense of shock and surprise at the harshness of it. I have also noticed this particularly when I've read quotes from saints and such, which is even more peculier. There's a character to it, and it's cruel and unmerciful. I don't know what this is, it seems pretty obvious that such a thing would be demonic. There's a certain state I can be in that feels tired where my visualization becomes more active and it's then I think that this happens. It's a bit concerning, I don't want whatever is doing that to affect me. I of course know it has no power over me, that humans have authority over the demons. If you may pray for me, I would appreciate it.

I don't let it disturb me too much, though maybe I should be more disturbed and animated against it. On a related note, I've never had a problem of "night terrors". I still don't, but I did have what seemed like one one night recently. My sleep schedule was messed up, which I'm sure played some part. How can a discern what is good or bad to do with my life, and what would send me to Hell? I'm not as discerning as I used to be. My life is perhaps a bit messy. All I know are some positive changes I can make, that aren't disputable. I know I could take a massive leap of faith and just cut a lot of the things in my life out, but I would be sacrificing a lot. I don't really want to cut off all of the relationships I've formed with people, but part of this leap would bare minimum kind of be ghosting some people. I have a number of big things I'd like to dedicate myself to, but I don't know if I can dedicate myself to them, goals in this world, and serve God and do his will at that same time. I also don't know that I couldn't.

I struggle also, at times, with conflicting philosphies, and it really shoots me in the foot. I know I can do a LOT if I didn't have them, but I don't know if I SHOULD be doing them. I know this is kind of retarded, vague, and a bit all over the place. I'm a bit of a confused person and I've lost clarity.

I have a confusion pertaining to submission, and creating my own life.

How do I maintain peace with all I've interacted with in this world while utterly crucifying myself to it? I don't beleive I will be saved short of monasticism. I need some form of suicide, and radical repentence and shaking away of my former self is probably the inverse equivalent of it. I don't know what to do, but I do think I need to kill myself in some way, it just needs purgation or something, or completely sacrifice until I drop dead and God takes me out of this world. I believe the best for you would be both to assume the both of everyone you interact with and be as charitable as you can. At some point you'll realize the word 'I' is less commonly found in your thoughts. You'll think about those people who you helped who shared their sorrows with you and you'll basically see that you either can think about yourself or you can pray for them and if you truly crucify yourself you'll choose the latter. However, never forget that each step and takes its time. You can suddenly be a saint in a week. Christ's disciples learned this too when they were told about their inability to exorcise the young man with the seizures.

I'm too spiritually confused and I've fallen off. I lack all certaintly. I don't have a sense of urgency in my life and I don't know if that's a good thing. I read all of your messages and I pray for you guys. God be with you. I am/was in a kinda depression since yesterday. Your messages and answers gave me back a bit of faith.
