Is this the place to make a SFW AI-gen/video edit request? /wsr/ is practically dead and I doubt /gif/ would listen because it doesn't involve porn. Rather I found the best example of soul/soulless and I want to bring it into being. Anyone here who knows what they're doing want to give it a shot?

Unironically better than the current show, and by quite a margin.
It makes me wonder - are they pushing ultra-shit to make people more receptive to AI content?

No, modern art is promoting terrible things because, to them, there is no difference between good and bad. They think they can make people like bad things because they believe there is no difference between a lie and the truth.

My friend, you're preaching to the clergy, though I think most of their efforts are deliberately subversive with shittiness as a consequence, rather than deliberately shit, which is a subtle but important difference. Hence my question.
>>
Anyone get those 80's style fantasy clips some anon was making/reposting a few days ago?
>>
This is a big ask, but it's for a noble cause.
Can someone take the 'skeleton' part of this clip, and create a CGI version using AI?
I'm trying to enlighten a friend about soul vs soulless and they just don't get it. I feel like this comparison would make the point.
>>
>>6074328
you mean take a single frame of it, run it through an image generator to create another version of it and than gen from that image using prompts that replicate similar to what is in the original clip?
>>
>>6074345
Close - take a frame just before the skeleton kicks in, and explain that he's being electrocuted and that for comic effect he should turn into a skeleton because he's getting electrocuted so hard, or words to that effect. I'm assuming you'd get a CGI skeleton, and it would look infinitely worse than the original. Though I have to admit I'm curious about what it would do if you specifically told it to make it look like the effect was created using practical effects. Also need to keep the camera static for the shot, naturally.
>>
>>6074361
The problem is their are various ways to get that initial frame and that can determine the end result. You can even just edit the frame in say Photoshop (or 10k hours in Paint) to get a suitable initial frame. That is instead of hoping for a good result by using a frame and turn it into something. That is the main problem with people using these "AI" genners, the don't think of them as just another video editing tool to use. And very much like the image genners, if you just use them in a lazy way the result will have that AI look to them.
>>
>>6074364
I just figured someone who knew what they were doing with AI could do it fairly quick. It mostly just came from someone somewhere else pointing out that if that scene was made today the skeleton part would 100% be CGI, and it would look a lot worse and be completely soulless as a result. I agreed, but it made me curious for just what that would look like

>>
>>6074447
I'm not sure you know what enlighten means, either that or you've completely misunderstood my post
>>
>>6074448
in short, you want this scene (or at least the skeleton clip) recreated using pure computer graphics to show that it's going to look worse, right?
>>
>>6074450
Soulless, yes.

>>
>>6074464

Was going to say that if you're not very competent about the topic, I doubt anything other than making an ass out of yourself is going to happen. But now that I think of it your friend might know as much as you, so whatever rhetoric you have planned might work, after all

I initially tried going for

>anime clip. A mecha pilot in a mecha cockpit that is sparking from damage. He slams down on a molly-guarded emergency button. Cut to outside, and we see his mecha is all banged up. With a *pop*, it instantly becomes good as new. We see an insert of the enemy complaining about how cheap that is.

And that got blocked immediately. I tried a few other things, whittled it down to

>anime clip. A mecha pilot in a mecha cockpit that is sparking. He hits a molly-guarded emergency button

And even that got blocked. What eventually got through was

>anime clip. A mecha pilot in a mecha cockpit. He hits an emergency button

So I can only conclude the "offensive part" was either the cockpit sparking or the button being molly-guarded. And in the end, the clip I got had a molly guard anyway, but he doesn't even push the button, and on top of that, there is a "conflation" of a speaking voice and a radio voice.

What a fucking dissapointment
>>
>anime clip. A mecha pilot in a mecha cockpit. He hits an emergency button. Epic music kicks in as components roar to life

That one gave me a strong independent button that don't need no hand

Funny thing is, I think some of my gens came out looking 3D-ish, ironically
>>
>>6078590

>>
>>6080009
You need to put more detail in the prompt. More description leaves less margin for misinterpretation from the trained model. A couple of sentences for a prompt just isn't going to cut it. And let's face it, the AI models on HailuolAI from over a year produced better results because anons were writing pretty long prompts to get past the filters, but it also produced better results then a short prompt.

Yeesh, and to think I tend to be bad at describing things. Who would have thought this would be a time where that would be a problem.

On a semi-related note, I put this one through the standard "takes a few hours" gen.

>anime clip. The hero's mecha snaps his fingers, and the enemy army blows up. Cut to the effeminate villain in his own cockpit complaining about how unfair that is

hoping it would somehow result in a better quality result. Turns out it can't animate snapping fingers, apparently

>anime clip. The villain's mech's transformation is revealed to be a giant fluffy teddy bear. Cut to the hero in his own cockpit as he wonders who would be intimidated by something like that. He turns and sees his ally piloting another mecha, panicking and trying to flee.

So I'm the guy who said a milestone for AI is when it can "render the impossible". Sure, I guess >>6081606 would count, but in other cases, it's easier said than done

>2D cartoon, a cleric gears up in preparation for a quest. Along a montage of her grabbing various items and clothes, she grabs her staff and pumps it like a shotgun. We even hear the sound of shotgun clicking during this motion.

I was basically aiming for a visual gag where she cocks her staff like a shotgun even though it's clearly not a shotgun. Unfortunately, it didn't quite deliver
>>
>>6082103
You would think, I should have been more specific with the visuals.

>2D cartoon, a cleric gears up in preparation for a quest. Along a montage of her grabbing various items and clothes, she grabs her staff and pumps it like a shotgun, moving one hand back and forth. We even hear the sound of shotgun clicking during this motion and see a shotgun shell being ejected.

That ended up with something even worse

the narrative control in prompting is much better. I can get a character to be far more expressive than just them speaking something monotone by typing out a whole narrative of how they are feeling and behaving and what they are saying with those expressive emotions to give more life to how they are animated with video, sound, and speech together. And due to the lowered restrictions, I can get something crazy like editing an image of a girl in a swimsuit to have milk leaking from her chest first, then I prompt the image to video to expressively show she has noticed her chest has been leaking milk and have her grabbing her chest and milking it. And it will fully animate it and apply expressive speech and mannerisms while it expressively shows her chest jiggle while she grabs it and milks herself. And because of the edited image to work with, it will animate the milk leaking out, too. I know it's a bit of an absurd and coomer tier example, but this is now the extent of what Grok is capable of. Sora 2 is so cucked and censored, it could never btw. You can even use images and prompt specific copyrighted characters and it will go through without issue. And if you put in the correct voice specifications in the prompt and get real lucky, there is a rare chance you'll get the voice as close as possible to the copyrighted character instead of it just sounding generic or monotone or robotic. If you employ every single possible trick with a complex prompt, Grok can get you some wild video gens. I have been trying to get one where Donald Trump presidential pardons Saul Goodman and half the time it actually imitates Donald Trump's voice properly. Very difficult for it to imitate Bob Odenkirk's voice, though.
