I wouldn't expect this place to make you better at socializing, but rather the opposite. Ostracize further, as it does for many.

This is an easy way to get lots of laughter and stimulation that doesn't take too much to enjoy. But it takes much longer than that to figure it's meaninglessness, if achieved.
Mocks and people can look fun and witty, but it isn't until you are truly broken, as they are, that things regain their full meaning, and senselessness.

Unless you have a very specific purpose in mind, or there's something to consider, the advice would be to go and enjoy your time.
If you are as young as you sound, make a good effort to succeed at school, find hobbies you enjoy or you could try and enjoy, meet more people, and avoid being terminally online, rather than the other way around. That should go a long way for improving socialization.
Don't let the internet drain you out of the world.
You still have a life to learn who you are, what you have to share with others, to find pain and joy, guilt and forgiveness. Honesty and growth.
I doubt you need this place all that much friend. And while I may not speak for everyone, I'd suggest not staying.

Join a sports team or a club kid, it will probably be tough meeting new people, but you'll thank yourself for it later. Surround yourself with people that will build you up, help you grow into a better person. The best you will find here is stagnation, and the worst, degeneration of your mind and body. And don't go looking for a discord or anything else like that either, it's the social equivalent of fast food, the connections you make aren't deep and lasting, just fulfilling in the moment; better than here, but honestly more of a trap into which many young men fall. It's a forum but without registration.
Meaning aside from the captcha there is a low barrier for people to post. Make of that what you will, it's like sitting down in a circle of complete strangers wearing masks, so you cannot see or identify them and trying to enter the discussion.
Actually even less since you cannot even see whether the same stranger as before responded or if it was someone else.
Works as well as you'd think it would in that real life example most of the time.

if you just want to talk to people go to /bant/, it has a 10second post cooldown so you can talk to people pretty quickly and the board is kinda meant for it. But be ready to see gore and scat and a million fishtank threads that you have to filter or hide.
