Bullet barrage is for nicking away some stamina, ensuing pain, possible curses from your part, and if you use special pellets, horrorful pain at that.
Machete is for finishing off.

Adittional equipment you can legal carry may be a water gun with chemicals.

Case in point, picrel, relatively cheap, you can load special 4.5s, then youd amplify damage with the machete.

If it's a big bad, you need real guns.

I've killed 2-3, 2 are comfirmedish by their lack of vital energies. The other I'm not sure what it was or how to locate well.
In both cases, they were first observed, the first one was, curiously, shielded against shadow/psychic stabbing, yet he was gone when I cut a few corner to get a closer look, so sorcery happened. The second one, well, he was a rather hostile and weird being (first one was like a blue dude), it (the second) was like a very thin wheelish circle, from which hands, feet and a head protruded. This one was, like I said, rather hell bent on having a piece of me, and the added difficulty was I didnt know how or where to hit is scarce substance, apart from the ever moving head, everything seemed rather hard to hit and see results, so I locked myself up and sorcery barraged.
