Jonathan Hoang, 21, disappeared from his home in Arlington, Washington on the night of March 30th, 2025. Hoang was highly autistic -- capable of some basic life skills, but unable to drive and needed a guardian for life. His parents immediately contacted police, but a search proved fruitless. Several months later, in June 2025, Hoang was spotted on a security camera outside a home in Kirkland, Washington -- more than 40 miles from Arlington. Interestingly, he appeared to be inspecting a house with an address similar to his own. He has not been seen since.

On August 31st, 2004, a man was found naked, sunburned, injured, and covered in ant bites next to a dumpster behind a Burger King in Richmond Hill, Georgia. The man could not remember anything about himself except for his birthday, which he was confident was exactly ten years before that of legendary pop singer Michael Jackson. He chose the name Benjamin Kyle, and for eleven years, he struggled to live without a driver's license, passport, or social security card. In late 2015, however, genetic testing discovered his true identity: William Powell of Lafayette, Indiana. He was reunited with some family members and has since been receiving public assistance, however the decades leading up to his discovery in 2004 will likely never be known.

From 2020 to 2021, a suspected serial killer operated in the Little Rock, Arkansas area. He committed three (known) murders, and one attempted murder (the victim was severely injured, but managed to survive). The killer, dubbed the "Little Rock Slasher", seemed to prefer to target lone walkers during the late-night hours. Police are confident all four crimes were committed by the same person, though his identity is still unknown.

Byblos is an ancient city in modern Lebanon which appears to have been inhabited continuously for about 7,000 years. Fourteen ancient artifacts (stone tables, plates, and spatulas) have been discovered bearing an unknown writing system now called the Byblos syllabary, which appears (at least partially) similar to Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. Many attempts have been made to decypher the strange text, but to this day, it remains un-translated.

On October 16th, 2012, the body of a young girl (aged approximately 16) was discovered on the side of a road in Houston, Texas. She appeared to have been mixed race (black and white), and was wearing a shirt bearing an image of Smurfette, leading to her unofficial name "Smurfette Jane Doe". Her body was badly decomposed, so a cause of death could not be determined, but it is very likely that foul play was involved. She has never been identified and no arrests have been made in relation to her death.

A woman, approximately 20-years old, was found dead -- apparently due to starvation -- on Christmas day, 1990, near Teteringen, Netherlands. She was wearing a red sweater, but no socks, shoes, or underwear, and her body showed signs of abuse. Her identity is still unknown.

August 5th, 1993: Seven people went on a hiking trip in the Khamar-Daban mountain range in Russia. After beginning their descent, one of the hikers began to scream, while blood seeped from his ears and eyes. A fellow hiker went to help him, but soon began screaming and showing the same symptoms. Another, apparently unable to breathe, bashed her skull against a rock until she was dead. Two more died after vomiting blood, and the final death occurred as a victim was attempting to flee. Only one person survived.
Theories range from altitude sickness, poisonous plants, secret military experiments, and beyond. Yet to this day, none have been solidly proven.

>What if I had a psychic premonition about Jonathan?
>Our family does not subscribe to or believe in psychics, tarot card readers, highly intuitive premonitions, visions, or any other metaphysical manifestations. Though skeptical, we have already listened to and followed some leads from psychics, and none have been helpful, accurate, or credible. No leads from psychics have been consistent, and many told us Jonathan would be found deceased in various locations with vague descriptions. At this time, we are focusing our efforts on tangible tips and sightings that are actionable.

weird. Here's another unsolved one listed under the related articles section:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paraquat_murders
>The paraquat murders (パラコート連続毒殺事件, Parakōto renzoku dokusatsu jiken) were a series of indiscriminate beverage poisonings carried out in western and central Japan in 1985. The drinks were placed in and around vending machines, where the victim would consume the beverage. All the beverages were poisoned with the herbicide paraquat dichloride, except for one which was poisoned with diquat. The most targeted beverages were the energy drinks Oronamin C and Real Gold. The first known case was on April 30, in Fukuyama. At least 13 people died and 35 became seriously ill, in what is possibly the deadliest product-tampering case in history. Warning labels and leaflets were posted around Tokyo, and on many of the 5.2 million vending machines across Japan. Police were unable to gather any evidence about the murders, and the case remains unsolved.

In 1761, five women were returning from collecting sticks near Ventimiglia, in northern Italy. Suddenly one of them cried out and dropped dead. Her companions were shocked by what they saw. Her clothes and shoes were torn into fine shreds and scattered up to six feet around her. There were wounds on her head that exposed the skull; the muscles on her right side had given way exposing her intestines; her sacrum was broken and most internal organs were ruptured or livid; her abdominal region bore many deep and parallel incisions, and the flesh of one hip and thigh was almost carried away, exposing the pubic bone and the broken head of the femur which had been forced from its socket. This horrific event was reported to the French Academy of Sciences by M. Morand, and the Annual Register for that year quotes him as noting that these grievous effects took place with no signs of penetration of the womans clothes, nor was there any blood on the scene, nor any sign of her missing flesh.

Karolina Olsson was 15 years old when she fell asleep after complaining of a toothache in 1876. She continued sleeping for over 30 years, never once waking up until 1908. Afterwards, she remembered everything from before she had slept, although she did not recognize her surviving family members. Doctors were unable to determine a cause, though it is believed she was in some sort of coma.
>>
>>41891014
Nah, you're more of an enigma.
>>41891034
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karolina_Olsson
>Olsson was visited by doctors who noted that her hair, fingernails, and toenails did not appear to grow. The family reported that Olsson occasionally sat up and "mumble[d] prayers she had learned by rote in childhood".
>In July 1892, Olsson was hospitalized in Oskarshamn, where she was treated with electroconvulsive therapy. On 2 August 1892, she was released from the hospital without awakening or her situation improving. The hospital said that the appropriate diagnosis was "dementia paralytica". However, there is little to suggest that she actually suffered from that illness. She was not re-examined by a doctor until she awoke from her sleep.
...what if we hook her up to a car battery and see what happens? Nah, didn't work, bitch must just be too crazy to move, oh well we tried everything.
>Upon the death of her brother in 1907, Olsson began crying hysterically, although she remained in an assumed coma. She reportedly did not touch any food that she received during her years in bed, and the family's maid never heard her speaking.
>It has been speculated that Olsson may not really have been asleep and hibernating all that time. There were many unexplained characteristics of her state; for example, her hair, fingernails, and toenails did not seem to grow.
>It was later revealed that Olsson did wake up occasionally and, when she did, she reacted with sorrow and anger. Frödeström speculated that Olsson thought that she was seriously ill, and that she remained still with her eyes closed and refused to eat to elicit sympathy. It has been conjectured that her mother had helped her and kept the fact secret that she was no longer hibernating.
hmmmm, the prospect of her faking it for decades is just as crazy as if she was actually fucked up medically.

In January of 1947, a young woman by the name of Elizabeth Short was found brutally murdered in Los Angeles. The 22 year old's body had been cleanly severed in half at the waist, and her intestines were neatly tucked under her backside. Her legs had been spread, her elbows bent upwards, and her hands positioned gracefully above her head, not unlike like those of a ballet dancer. Her face had been carved from the corners of her mouth, all the way up to her ears, forming a scar commonly known as a Glasgow smile.
In the decades since, Short has become one of the most famous murder victims in American history. Her murder came less than a year after the release of a famous murder-mystery film starring Alan Ladd, which may well be how Short came to be known as the Black Dahlia.
Her killer has never been identified.

"Mommy is in the trees."

In 1985, Steven Harkins and his girlfriend Ruth Cooper went camping in a remote area of Pierce County, Washington. When they did not return several days later, their families reported them missing, and a search began.
Investigators quickly discovered Harkins' body, with a gunshot wound to the head. His pet dog had also been shot to death. It wouldn't be until several months later that Cooper's body was found, about a mile and a half away, with a tube sock tied around the neck. Her head was about 50 feet away.
Over a month later, a little girl was found wandering, alone, outside of a Kmart in Spanaway, Washington. When asked where her parents were, the young woman simply replied: "Mommy is in the trees."
The girl's face was shown on local television, and her grandmother successfully identified her as Crystal Louise Robertson, age 2. Her parents, Mike Reimer and Diana Robertson had gone camping earlier that day, not far from where Harkins and Cooper went camping.
Reimer's truck was eventually found, along with Robertson's body, half buried in snow, nearby. Just like with Ruth Cooper, a tube sock was tied around her neck.
It wouldn't be for another 25 years before Mike Reimer's skull was found about a mile away, though a cause of death could not be determined.
To this day, no one is sure if the four deaths are connected, or who is behind them. Some have noted that in both cases, there was a significant age gap between the couples.

On an icy Friday in January of 1956, six-year old Susan Cadieux was playing with her older brothers and a friend at a playground not far from her home in London, Ontario. At approximately 7:45 PM, a man approached Susan, and claimed that he had something to give her. He then told the other children that he was meeting with a priest at a church, and that he lived on York Street (although he pointed towards King Street). When Susan had not returned by 8 PM, her brothers told their parents, who then contacted police. By 1:30 AM, around 300 people had joined the search. The following morning, at about 10 AM, Susan's body was found in a nearby warehouse. She had been sexually assaulted, and her cause of death was listed as exposure. It is believed she died less than 3 hours before being found.

Tears were frozen to her face.

Her killer was never apprehended.

There's postulation that the SFK/Staged Drowning phenomenon is an O9A cult ritual. In the corpus of their work there's references to human sacrifice via water.
Some of the survivors reported how it was multiple perpetrators in tandem.

There's also an eerie tie in to Nine Inch Nail's video, Pinion, off of the Broken ep that depicts something akin to an SFK killing. Some of the victims were found with water in the lungs from different bodies of water.

This video was directed by Peter Christopherson of Coil, another very occult band with ties not only to pedo shit in SEA but also the upper echelons of British society.

I highly recommend checking out William Ramsey's work on the subject.

On January 31st, 1962, three girls at a school in the village of Kashasha (in what is now Tanzania), began to giggle. A cause of the incident was never determined, though some believe it may have been related to stress or mental health. It would be about 18 months before the laughter finally subsided.

Genghis Khan ruled what was once the largest empire in history. Before he died, he requested that he be buried in an unmarked grave. Several legends exist regarding his burial. Some say that several thousands of slaves and guards carried his casket to his final resting place, then were killed or committed suicide in order to hide the location. Others believe that a river was diverted over the ground where he was buried. Either way, almost 800 years later, the location of the tomb of Genghis Khan remains a mystery.

On August 23rd, 1912, 4-year old Bobby Dunbar disappeared while fishing near a swamp in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. Some strange photos were taken with their smartphones, and their call-logs suggested they were trying to contact help. A cause of death was never determined, although one forensic scientist noted that there were no scratches or marks of any kind on the bones.

Only two of the killings AT MOST were by the same person. The others have too many inconsistencies. It would've been so easy to get away with murder in such a dingy part of town that it was probably more widespread than anyone wanted to admit.

On February 28, 1983, a pair of looters entered an abandoned apartment building in St. Louis, Missouri. Upon lighting up a cigarette in the darkness, the two criminals were shocked to discover the headless body of a young girl, her hands bound with rope, and wearing only a yellow sweater. She had been raped.

I found the original unsolved mysteries to be a bit slow for my taste but if you're attention span isn't fucked up like mine, it's nice slow burn

The First 48 is great, it's real footage sometimes you see crazy shit like a body being dragged out of the river, sometimes they don't even bother censoring shit, it's wild.

There's a show with William Shatner with like 6 seasons that goes through a bunch of mysteries, forget the name though.

For my contribution to the thread:
>Resurrection Mary is Chicago's most famous hitchhiking ghost, a spectral blonde woman in a white dress who appears on Archer Avenue, requests a ride, and vanishes after asking to be taken to Resurrection Cemetery, where she is believed to be buried, often linked to a 1930s car crash victim, though her true identity remains a mystery, making her a cultural legend and cautionary tale.

Also at some point people heard screaming by cemetary and this image was the result, something burned the bars and twisted them. They claimed it was a car accident.

The original episodes are the best ones, by a long shot. Even better if you have the video files and can skip past the segments that completely disinterest you. I like them for 3 reasons
>it’s fucking comfy, same reason as you
>you can see old psyops on there. Narratives they pushed and how they were pushing them back then. Makes things easier to spot and can be pretty hilariously clumsy, considering even just how they narrative push here these days
>they unironically ran segments which actually questioned official government narratives at the time. Lots of those questions revolved around military activity, even outside the general UFO stuff. A lot of the stories would not be able to be run on a streaming service today. There are just too many questions they don’t like being asked.

Seconding all of these sentiments. Most of these are pre 9/11 and post fall of USSR. It was the golden age of reexamining the actions of our government from 1945-2000. The Cold War was "won" and the wave of patriotism and nationalism that came from the horror of 9/11 hadn't happened yet. People started questioning whether some of these atrocities and coverups were really worth it. They didn't have the Soviet boogie man with his finger hovering over the big red button to scare them to sleep every night. X-Files airing during the same time frame deals with a lot of this stuff as well, especially if you're already initiated and have some context going into it. A lot of soft disclosure stuff going on. Final frame of the first season of X-Files btw. They hold on this for like 10 seconds.

The greatest of all mysteries is solved when you have the eyes to see that the vatican is a snake.

Take the jonathan kleck pill bros, he decoded alot of these hidden evil spirits, the veil has been lifted and the Holy Spirit Given us by Jesus Christ enables one to see through these illusions
God made it known for our edification:

> 16 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?

We are all sinners. Repentance and accepting Jesus Christ as lord is your salvation. The path is right in front of you but you can't see it because your eyes are not open. Choose what you know in your heart is true.

The Spirit of Christ is with you and the full Armor of God is on you, fren. God bless and many blessings to you.

Not really the same kind of mystery as most of the other stories in this thread but something weird happened in my neighborhood about 10 years ago. I may get small details wrong but this is basically what happened.

Dogs in my neighborhood were going missing at a very unusual rate and I think several dogs were found dead. People would let their dogs out at night and they would disappear. There was an investigation and they couldn't find a person that had done this to the dogs. But they did find very large cat prints in the mud and dirt at a few of the sites. Much bigger than a house cat. And this in the southern usa where we dont have mountain lions or bobcats or anything.

If I find the news article online I'll post it here but this was probably more than 10 years ago so I may not be able to find it. Not really disturbing but a mystery I guess

Kelly Lynch, 23, was discovered in the Ulster Canal in Monaghan town on St Patrick's Day 2024.

Gardaí believe she wandered off alone and fell from a bridge into the canal and are not treating her death as suspicious.

However, Ms Lynch, who was from Lisnakea in Co Fermanagh, was found with 93 different injuries to her body, and her family have pushed for a murder investigation into her death.

A privately-funded forensic report - seen by RTÉ's Drivetime - has found Ms Lynch was victim of a homicide and had some injuries inflicted after her death.

This kind of reminds me of an oddity from my neighborhood growing up. This went on for a few years starting when I was in middle school. Our doorbell rang one day and my dad answered. It's a guy we'd never seen before who introduced himself as Ira. He was tall, otherwise lean but with a beer belly. Here was mostly bald except for a stringy blonde mustache that covered his mouth and a few stray hairs right on the top of his head. The strangest thing about his appearance was a black patch of fabric on the very back of his head. It didn't look like a bandage. My brother used to joke that it was Velcro and that's sort of what it looked like. Ira handed my dad a flyer about his missing cat, and it looked like any old missing cat flyer you might have seen. But then Ira said "I'm looking for my cat, but any cat would do." That activated my dad's weirdo radar and my dad sent him away.

As I said before, we'd never seen him before but after that we started seeing him everyday walking up and down our street. He always wore the same clothes and had the same patch of fabric on the back of his head. As he walked by he'd check under cars and occasionally look inside trash cans. That wouldn't be too weird if he was really just looking for his missing cat. The really weird thing is that he continued to do this everyday, regardless of the weather for years. Same outfit too, even in the cold. The initial meeting occurred the summer before 9/11 when I was about to start the eighth grade and, while I can't pinpoint the exact time this stopped, my best friend once saw him with me and we met when I was in sophomore year of high school. The guy always gave me "Men in Black pretending to be human" vibes, though I never seriously considered any sort of paranormal origins.

On Christmas Eve 1945, a fire destroyed the Sodder family home in Fayetteville, West Virginia. Five of the ten Sodder children were believed to be inside. The fire was ruled accidental, and officials concluded the five children died in the blaze, but no remains were ever found. Over time, the parents uncovered strange details: cut phone lines, a ladder moved away from the house, reports of fireballs thrown onto the roof, and later sightings of children resembling the missing Sodders in other states. The children has never been found.
