I posted Reinkaos because it has an interesting story behind its composition. According to Wikipedia:
>The lyrics reflect the occult tenets of the Misanthropic Luciferian Order (MLO) and are "based on invocations and formulas that have been linked into the lyrics to evoke the powers that they represent. Occult musical theory has been applied in the song writing process as a means of symbolically charging their structures. They have also been written inspired by scientific ideas such as string theory. The songs have all been written with the intention of using sounds and vibrations as an Anti-Cosmic tool and they have all been consciously created to be the vessels for these powers."[7] In the grimoire Liber Azerate, released by the MLO, reinchaos is defined as "the return to chaos and acausal existence."

Not damaging.
Consuming different kinds of art and music is more educational than damaging.
Reinkaos is a pretty good album.

Thread directly on "Current 218/182", the stuff Jon Nödtveidt was working with, in >>41854853
Liber Azerate was the first book in the series of books discussed in said thread; which was however only released in Swedish Language.
"The Book of Sitra Achra" linked in said thread discusses the same subjects on the Qliphoth but more advanced; and in english.
"Liber Azerate" was also "supernaturally generated rather than manually handwritten" btw; none of the books by "N.a-a.218" are written by hand; they "publish themselves" in order to present advanced Sigil-based systems and such that would be hard to construct manually by hand.

I think there's "fan translations" to english.
But "The Book of Sitra Achra: A Grimoire of the Dragons of the Other Side" is on the exact same subject; with more advanced stuff than what was presented in Liber Azerate.
Both "Book of Sitra Achra" as well as the "Liber Falxifer series" (LF1-3) is of the same origins; Liber Falxifer 4 comes out quite soon (LF3 came 2016; Book of Sitra Achra got a Second edition with two additional chapters 2018 i think; so has been a while since new books came out)

It depends entirely on the individual who listens to it. But whether it's good or bad for the soul, we can all easily agree, it's extremely hardcore and metal as fuck to listen to. There's no doubt about that.

Here's a better version of the album cover art showing a side-scan of a person's head and brain in the background.
Easily one of my favorite pieces of artwork of all time. It reminds me of the fundamental nature of consciousness towards existence as a whole, and how that very same consciousness was born from nothingness itself. It doesn't get anymore esoteric than that.

None. How you interpret music is completely up to you. I used to dissociate and self harm to ambient when I was younger (I haven't done it in four years). For many metal is a healthy outlet for releasing their pent up anger.

I got into it as a teenager, and got close to releasing my own album that was actually pretty good, but it was ruining my life. My perspective on life wasn't healthy, I put myself in many dangerous situations. It all culminated in an NDE where Jesus Christ saved me, I healed my past traumas and stopped being an edgelord. Life is a lot better now.

I just want to clarify that you can still be a healthy Christian and listen to Death Metal well beyond your teenage years without being a total edgelord. If it didn't work for you, that's completely OK, and if it did work for somebody else who is also a devout Christian, then that is equally valid as well. Everybody is built different afterall.

A lot of Black Metal musicians have a very advanced understanding of Theology and biblical mythology.
Funeral Mist for example is strong in that department;

I know you can still be a metalhead as a Christian, I've considered producing a one off album with Christian Mysticism themes, but I needed those few years of abstinence to heal my mindset.

>black metal
hate, atheism, satanism, depression
>death metal
anger, gore, hate
>pop music
lust, adultery, sloth, pride
>rap
drugs, crime, lust, greed, lazyness, wrath
Most secular music is spiritually harmful, but all kinds of different flavors.
Black metal can be quite chill, but the worst part is that a lot of it has subtle satanism and atheism woven into it, and over time that will kill you spiritually.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>41894992
ie no matter how much hip hop music or something you listen to it's not gonna be harmful for you unless you become a "wigger" from it, and start mimicking the lifestyle of the avarage rap musician (like join a gang in compton or something).
That's real dumb decision making though, and something you won't see in any type of "functioning adult".

You're opening your mind to new ideas. If it's ideas you don't enjoy you'll move on to other genres; if it's ideas you do like you'll start developing new interests.
Black Metal specifically tends to be highly spiritually advanced, and is more likely to be spiritually enlightening than the other way around.
The lyrical themes are often more "on the spot" about everything going on spiritually than you think.
Marduk - Shovel Beats Sceptre is pretty good btw;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxBGX8uatrg
"Has it dawned on you yet?
Have you begun to grasp
That life is not a clock
But an hourglass?
Are you prepared?
Is your rat-nest in order?
Will your mind be at ease
When the shadows grow taller?
Hopeless odds
The game is fixed
See death tear down the playground"

Here's a very good Qliphothic Death Metal band;
Portal - Curtain:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Vyw_FGIhAE
Quite paranormal as well; "non-human band"; ie "spiritual characters" (imps). From the Qlipha "Aogiel; The Hinderers".
Very good music video, describing a "stereotypical situation".
You can recognize "many different people" in the facial features of the character the video follows; referring to "people in said situation".

This for example being a relevant edit;
"Morpheus" in "The Matrix" plays the same role that the character sent in to the set at around 1.40 does.

The Qliphoth being "behind the scenes tier of reality"; while Sephiroth is "The Fasade; the stage".
In the video the Stage eventually grows teeth at the end (Qliphothic intrusion; "End of Eden")

Metal concerts and festivals are known to be very friendly and welcoming to everyone despite usually lots of alcohol consumption and mosh pits. Only some black metal fans might take themselves too seriously and be violent, but even that is very rare and you might hear stories from the 90s.

like killing some guy, exchanging your soul for fame, spending some time in prison but then being a world known celeb. that kind of damage.
scandinavia, known for little in general, the sleepy north, after ww2 & general chaos of culture & values, black metal arises, one of those avant garde guys performs a blood ritual making this peculiar new music popular, the devil is satisfied indeed.
also smearing hitlers natsoc ideology by mixing in degeneracy & real devil worship, hitler was nothing like that. welcome to post ww2 nighmare scape.

“Like all music, the figured bass should have no other end and aim than the glory of God and the recreation of the soul; where this is not kept in mind there is no true music, but only an infernal clamour and ranting.” — Johann Sebastian Bach

„Und soll wie aller Musik also auch des Generalbasses Finis und Endursache anders nicht als nur zu Gottes Ehre und Recreation des Gemütes sein. Wo dieses nicht in acht genommen wird, ists keine eigentliche Musik, sondern ein Teuflisches Geplerr und Geleier.“ — Johann Sebastian Bach

If you want a good reccomendation; here's a very obscure swedish black metal band I enjoy listening to every now and then.
Saw them live a couple of times many many years ago.
Vemoth - Ulvnatt:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBrtyQkKP7s
The part at 4.10 in is an old favourite song segment over all.
5.05;
"Låt oss åter bli vargar, i människohamn!
För att stärka den Eviges Strävan, (Eviga Strävan!)
Strävan om att åter störta Kosmos i Kaos;
Och att låta mörkret för evigt härska!"
Some ancient Egyptian spirits writing music with this band btw; look for their input and you'll notice it; they can point it out in the music.
Same with this;
Vemoth - Baal:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNvLJTssTE8
"Baal min herre - giv mig dina gåvor!"
"Hyllningar till Baal!"
Worth checking them out if you haven't seen them before; not very noticed in the black metal scene. They released 2 full length albums; "Köttkroksvals" and "The Upcoming End" (the second having some material in english).

>Some ancient Egyptian spirits
Egyptian / Babylonian.
The same spirits are for example also highly prominent in;
"Funeral Mist - Children of the Urn":
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SExRFrEsv6Q
(Being the "Children of the urn" of the song-title themselves).
The same spirits are also behind stuff like "Pippi långstrump"; in swedish kids tv.
They're some Ghost-children from ancient eras that has been part of a lot of cool "Extremely Dissonant black metal tunes"

Nefirtiti knows them well.
See

You can recognize Nefirtiti is vast amounts of Black and Death metal btw; she composes a lot of music spiritually.
Very major prescence in the spiritual current of Satanism and such.
Study which kinds of stuff you can recognize her in.
She has been around for a while.

He was a big fan of Telemann, I get where this comes from
on topic: found some of the most spiritually integrated music in a former satanist black metal band so there‘s that. several such cases of long term development in this scene, it‘s quite interesting

I literally started turning back towards Christianity shortly after I started listening to black metal. I've never found myself influenced by the religious views of Arkona or Nokturnal Mortum. I just like the music.
