Threads on this topic normally get deleted, but I'd like to discuss it on this board because it is about voodoo, witchcraft, etc, through a 4chan post which is very paranormal.

Despite this being a majority atheist website, why do so many anons feel compelled to reply to posts containing "Reply or your mother will die in her sleep?" As an atheist, you shouldn't reply because you don't believe in such voodoo/witchcraft. If you are a Christian or any other religion for that matter, you shouldn't believe this post has power over your God/buddha/etc.

That being said, then WHY do such a high number of anons reply to these posts? They get such a high post count every time, that I'd say probably 50% of you faggots probably reply to these posts thinking your mother is seriously endangered if you do not reply.

Because there's always the thought 'what if it's real?' which even atheists are not free of.

I don't know why you're making this assumption. To answer your question though, those posts get a lot of replies because this is the dumbest board on 4chan.

ridiculous premise and ridiculous incorrect conclusions drawn based on it
reddit successfully made atheism so completely disgusting that anons began investigating for themselves and found the truth

>because it is about voodoo

Thought based gangstalking as I was thinking about that around 3 hours ago.

Anyways, demons run the internet and probably the world and can mindread. I literally was thinking about my phobia catching on fire and literally like a minute or so later I clicked on another YouTube short and say my phobia aflame. IDK is this was a good or bad thing seeing as it is my phobia and is not something living.

But yeah, they post threads like those. And most of the atheists are imps LARPing.

It's a collective spell everyone is under - the superstition that if something is uttered it might come true. All you have to do is not respond to those posts ONCE and you break the spell for yourself. I learned this when I was pretty young, and from then on I stopped believing in ghosts, ghouls, monsters, etc. There is freedom in realizing the world is pretty mundane and predictable.
