I agree, partly. There’s not value in giving up on yourself or giving into your dark tendencies. But sometimes to become better, you have to accept you’re a sinner and need to reprogram to the best of your ability. Giving up on yourself just makes you, and the world around you, worse off.

I think so, I mean, I fully acknowledge with those close to me that I'm not a 'good' guy. I try my best to do well unto others, sure, but my moral compass is questionable at times to the average layman as a result of the complex nature of life and its decisions. So I have a hard time distinguishing myself as 'good' proper, and in the simple dichotomous view of a regular joe if you're not 'good' then you're 'bad'.

I treat people the way people treat me. I've tried the whole "being the better man" thing, but it doesn't really work without charisma and pre-established social status, you just become a punching bag. It's the same way with investing in people who just immediately don't take to you. I don't fuck people over who don't fuck me over, I try to avoid wasting time with people who are immediately hostile to me. I think most people really don't realize just how much superficial popularity contest bullshit will color whether or not a normie will see you and your actions as good or bad, and whether those actions are appreciated or expected.

What's seen as good or bad in the eyes of normies is often dictated by the social status, charisma, and attractiveness of the individual committing the action.
