Epstein (and Trump to an extent) is obviously a scapegoat they're using as a boogeyman to shift all the blame onto, but not only that, there's also a ton of info that makes the Jews look bad and incriminating as well. Since they'd be the ones directly in charge of releasing the files, you have to ask yourself why they would do such a thing if it would make them look bad as a result? Why would you want all the normies to know that the entire world is run by your Satanic pedo cult and "reveal" your entire operation. Is it because they want to give all the sheeple a false sense of awakening, so they finally "know" what's been happening and will not bother to look into things further? Do they want to demoralize people by basically saying "look at all these horrific things we can get away with and there's nothing you can do about it"? Are they going to swoop into to "save the day" from the demons (themselves) in a staged effort to get people to trust them? Kind of like Syndrome from the Incredibles.

Have you ever considered how many "victims" were hylics?
Have you ever wondered the percentage of hylics vs non hylics among the human population?

The riots in Minneapolis were getting old so they shifted to the next best thing the masses were braying for. What they’re really distracting from is probably the fact Trump and Vance are taking their cues from Larry Ellison and Peter Theil respectively and that massive digital surveillance is just around the corner, probably with terrorist attacks and/or another pandemic as justification.
The files also probably provide justification for “getting rid” of the old guard, none of the new candidates are “on the list” so whatever plan is on the horizon can use new people that the masses won’t associate with Epstein.
