20yo autist here, just went and climbed Shasta in December with two friends. Got to about 12k feet before the wind was making it impossible to stand up. I want to go back in May and do Shasta, Hood, and maybe Baker or Adams to get some familiarity with glaciers. Also happen to have a few glacier skills but never tested them out. I'm aware that climbing Shasta was retarded. Any advice?

I'd get a guide and get some skills at least if your friends don't know what they're doing either. You can ask them anything you want on the way about planning, what to look for, etc.
Did Hood last year with Kaf Adventures wasn't too expensive and good. It's super bootpacked so very hard to get lost but moreso for the knowledge it was beneficial.
