I'm having like some sort of abscess on my lower gum....I think it started as a small cut or something and now i can't eat certain food like tomatoes because it will sting to mighty fuck.
I'm swashing my mouth with salty water because that's the only thing I can think of to fix this, any advice is appreciated.

thats a canker sore OP, happens if you burn your mouth with something hot, or really acidic, but it can also happen with stress or if you use toothpaste and mouthwash containing sodium lauryl sulfate very often. could be your diet aswell.
Just be careful with how you eat and itll go away on its own :)

Canker sore.
Take a better picture next time nigga. So blurry I can barely see it.
Don't use salt. Rubbing salt into a wound just irritated it and slows healing.
Here is a chat summary because I know gen z can barely read.
"Canker sores (scientifically known as aphthous ulcers) are small, shallow lesions that develop on the soft tissues in your mouth or at the base of your gums. Unlike cold sores, they aren't caused by a virus and aren't contagious."
I used to get them infrequently but haven't in a couple years. I think it might be diet or an ingredient in some toothpastes.

Yeah, like another anon said, that's a canker sore.
They happen when you injure the inside of your mouth, either by biting on it or injuring it some other way. It usually takes a day or so for it to show up after the injury.
They usually heal in 1-2 weeks. If it takes much longer, then go to a doctor.
They can hurt like motherfuckers while they heal, especially when they happen in a place where you keep irritating it by chewing food, like the inside of your cheeks. You got a rather harmless location there.
Brush your teeth regularly and use a mouth wash like listerine once per day. In my experience the mouth wash definitely helps with making it heal faster. Don't overdo it though. Once or twice per day is enough.

Cankersore. It's annoying but harmless.
Do a saltwater rinse 2-3 times a day, otherwise leave it alone. It'll go away in about 1-2 weeks.
If it happens regularly I'd bring it up the next time you do your regular doctor's visit.

It's an ulcer. I get them randomly and they're awful. Like I had one so bad a couple years ago that lasted months and had my dentist saying it was the worst one he's ever seen. You literally just have to deal with it and it fucking sucks.

Yeah, my dentist said people who have good teeth often have problems with gums and vice versa. Some types of bacteria attack teeth and some the gums and skin. So depending on your mixture of crap in your mouth you get one or the other.
