I'm a young guy in first year of university, I recently got my expensive phone stolen in the bus, and my family blamed is really mad towards me, everything feels empty and bleak after this, feels like a part of my body was stolen, due to my circumstances I can't get a new phone, I can't bear with this, feels like ending it all, how do I emotionally cope?

Serious answers or advice needed

Well I'm not addicted to phones or anything but I can't live without my phone, I really miss the comfort of having it, and also I need it for university stuff

then buy a phone dude. there's smartphones on the market for less than 100$ these days
i got my galaxy on sale for 70 and it does everything a phone is supposed to do, idk why you'd have to spend more

you're either trolling or emotionally stunted, good luck whichever way

I don't wanna sound spoiled or ungrateful and I'm not, but I just hate androids, my phone that I lost recently was the latest iPhone, and I don't think a university student can find a job in my shithole country

Why would you think that? I'm genuinely asking for help, and yeah I'm emotionally very fucked right now just because of my lost phone

>iphone
why would you buy that overpriced piece of garbage spyware in the first place
anyways, if you can't afford it right away, 35$ for a temporary phone is a steal while you save up for a new jewphone

btw don't iphones have a built in tracker?

I'm fine with using an android at the moment but having an android in public, specially in university feels like a humiliation ritual, just feels embarrassing. Yeah iPhones have tracker but the thief turned my phone off so it's no chance sadly

nothing wrong with android tho.. if anyone looks down upon you for that, they're a superficial idiot
what happened sucks but you have to look at your options, would you rather have no phone? there's also the possibility of buying a refurbished jewphone but it's still going to be overpriced garbage

Go to your local recycling center and find the bins where they recycle old phones. Wait until they're not looking and take one of them.

well... you are a cyborg.
so your body part was stolen.
you need to get a cheap surrogate.
there are cheap android phones. i know: you had an iphone. but trust me: android can be even better. you can root it and have LieageOS. but... takes time. so you better use the energy to study.
expensive phone is gone. get a cheap one. if you really need one. even bums and monks these days have smartphoes. the black mirror is everywhere.

also... you are retarded for wanting to kill yourself. and overly dramatic. but if you really want to, you deserve to die. i can give you proper instructions.

You are being a MASSIVE spoiled prick.
First of all, your attachment to materialism is so ingrained your cries are simply hollow, second, you didn't have the decency of taking care of your own things that you supposedly like and appreciate so much, and third, lowering your standards in a time of need seems to be such a big problem emotionally that it makes me think you've never faced proper adversity in your life.
Killing yourself would be an improvement upon the world.

javascript:quote('34218702'); The latter.

But young man, you need to switch for the alternative. You're not wrong with that 'it's part of me'. Bcz for a fact, anything we owe were and for the matter phone were easy pocket for neccesity.

Okay we get it then but actual part is for how and why you didn't think when it happen.
>I'll say it again, buy a different brand altogether. Pick a damn you know can be wise for your budget and it's usefulness. That's the alternative, oh don't forget to get use to it easy.
