I'm looking for a job in my specialised line of work and got offers from Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan. The salaries are pretty much the same normalised for cost of living (~3x local median wage) and all are 3 year contracts. Anyone have any experience working in these places as a whitey without any knowledge of Chinese? The idea of going to any of these isn't repulsive to me so I'm just trying to compare them.

Secretly I'd like to go to Japan instead, but it looks like I'll have to build some more connections first and try again in a year or two. I'm fluent in Japanese and my twisted fantasy is to settle down with a nip woman. Bonus points if I find one in the above mentioned countries. I'm 28, tall and reasonably good-looking but mildly autistic (obviously), if that helps.
