i'm tired of working shit jobs that pay horribly, but i don't really know where to start in trying to find a better one since i don't have any experience doing anything else what's a good trade/career to pursue where you have next to no interaction with people and that pays fairly well? i don't care how long it takes to get there i'll try anything at this point.

Here’s the answer :

Work in the city . People always think city life is expensive but the wages more than make up for it .

Minimum wage is 7.25 in PA state compared to 17 NYC , that’s 234%

You have to actually get money in , the savings of living in a rural area aren’t worth the lost income

Which city ? One with many different industries . Los Angeles has the ports , the entertainment industry , and farming for most of the western US , and tech .

Chicago is connected to the water via the Great Lakes , has a major businesses and ~50% of all rail traffic shipping containers pass through their stations which they collect fees for . Midwest talent moves here and the cycle starts again by drawing in business and growth .

New York is the financial capital of the world

Florida is a bad place for money because the biggest industry is tourism which pays poorly and competes with the wealthiest , compared to other cities where the businesses that make money also pay the locals working there well

This is also the reason things are cheap in the countryside , money is scarce there and thus more valuable , so it goes farther , but you don’t want to be where money is scarce .

Note that this will amplify your current situation , if you’re saving dollars already then you save more , but spending more than you earn in the city will cause you to go into debt quickly
