Struggling to get over this hump that unless I'm an ultra genius, then there's no point in "expressing" myself, even if I have something worthwhile sharing. Even using first-person pronouns just feels gay, because, really, what's so unique about what I have to say? (the irony of this post excluded)
For example, take any e-celeb (ugh) or streamer (ugh) that plays video games like everyone else - there's less variety now more than ever, so what really is the pull? What makes them different? But at the same time, that's hypocritical of me since I've already evaulated their worth at a glance.
I just wonder how these people get over these sort of things; if they even think about this.
Would love to hear new perspectives.

Do you think streamers fancy themselves as ultra geniuses lol? Maybe 10 years ago when you had to be an actual top tier player to get an audience on Twitch. If anything being an ultra genius will probably hurt your chances of getting a platform. Most people that make content or livestreams for the past few years are actually mostly pretty slow people Asmongold is a perfect example.

It's a bit hard to convey what I'm saying here. I was trying to refer to people who try to make something of themselves when what they offer isn't too different from their peers. Like a blog about music reviews or DIY.
Streamers were just the first example I could think of.

I think you are desensitized to opinions due to the amount of consoom that you consoom on a regular basis.
At times of my life I was consoomer, and everything felt meaningless. I didn't want to hear any of it. At other times I was a complete normie, just going to school and back, and ain't much in-between. It is at these times that consooming content and opinions felt good. Because you just have none of that. You don't hear opinions, you're not part of any dramas around the world, you live a boring, honest life. Then consooming has merit all of a sudden. It's exciting.
I went back to school now, and part of me is really trying hard to stop myself from ending it all. I'm so close dude. But you just gotta keep going. Just keep going dude. Don't let nothing stop you - cuz we ain't stopping

I actually care too much about opinions, that's why I've made this post. But I agree with everything else you've said. Good luck with your journey back in school, keep going.

It doesn't, but it's fun to dream.
