anyone got experience with hair transplants?
i've been balding since i was 20, pretty much shaved my head off since then. i'm 34 now and it's never really bothered me or the women i date.
however, recently i just negotiated a 5 year contract for offshore work in my trade (plumbing/fitting/gas) where i'm set to make quite a bit of money and a friend joked that now i can afford the turkish hair transplant, and it got me thinking.
it would be so weird to have hair again after so many years and to be honest it sounds like a massive chore to go and get the procedure, anyone have advice? experiences? thanks

i have no advice and no experience but if it really matters that much to you then do it. i've gone through enough trauma with my hair that i'm just enjoying what i have left as much as possible until it's gone.

Well, you gotta keep taking finasteride/dutasteride. Otherwise the same mechanisms that made you lose your hair will happen again.
Just look at Vettel - he got a transplant, then lost hair, then another transplant and lost hair again...
