i'm not attracted to her. i was happy they got together so i tried to be decent. when she was alone with me, she told me he's been raping her since before the wedding. i comforted her and gave her some advice, and the next day she made a point to rub herself on me and even try to kiss me in front of him. i found myself spending the day trying to stand with her alledged rapist between her and me. can't parse this behavior. on the one hand, she could be trying to drive a wedge between him and me so she can make a move on me, but this seems unlikely because we do not live on the same continent. on the other hand, i could be seeing some kind of co-dependant powerplay in which she tried to provoke a response from her husband. this was months ago. she apologised and now she's messaging me about mundanities. says things are "better" between the two of them.

Happened to me when i was in school - fortunately i was a dum-dum and wasn't aware she wanted to date me. Thank god. Because it saved me from a massive headache. I've later found out she was a massive cheater and basically got down with everyone in her university class.

Lord only knows what she has in her mind. Anyways, don't stay in the middle of the crossfire. If she's being abused at home, then encourage her to seek help. And cut her off. This is your line in the sand.
As for your friend - don't tell him and ignore everything she told you about him. Compartmentalize.
