I’ve been using this in my grinder lately. Don’t care for the…Szechuan? I forget which kernel it is that has the weird psychedelic taste. It’s not bad enough to not use or throw it out, but I think I’ll go back to regular peppercorns

this is true, cooking white pepper is a must that elevates its flavour. it's a bad habit to use it as a garnishing spice in the same way black pepper can be used
