Letting them thaw completely and putting them on a stone/steel is really good but seems too high effort for frozen pizza. I wanna just take it out of the freezer and eat on a night when I'm too lazy to cook or make a mess.

>take out of oven, sooon around some Kroger pizza sauce.
>douse with Italian seasoning

I tried Red Baron when it was $10 for four boxes and I didn't like it. Safeway store brand tastes better, IMO. It's actually on sale this week, RB or store brand, $9 for three. I was gonna grab three today, but both I and my wife forgot to. We got the milk and some other things but not the pizza because we didn't even go down that aisle. Oops.

but the bettergoods wood fired pizzas mog even that, and are easily the best pizzas I've had. sadly they got rid of the best one, the carne, and the current pepperoni and bacon isn't quite as good, but it's still the best frozen pizza

Red Baron is my go to these days but that's more because of its price point than anything. It's fine but there are better frozen pizzas out there. I think Paul Newmans is better but I stopped buying them because they got too expensive. Pre-covid you could get them for $4.99, but now they're always $6.99 which is a non starter for me. I refuse to pay that much for frozen pizza on principle since for literally $1 more you could be getting carry out from a real place. I'll still snag a Paul Newmans now and again when I catch them on sale though.

my safeway did this pretty frequently last year and I got addicted to the convenience of popping one in the oven. It was like melatonin for me lol. Eating an entire pizza would fill me up to almost food coma level, and I could just pass out without having to worry about storing leftovers. it gave me nightmares about suffocating toddlers and I'd wake up covered in sweat.
I make sure to kiss all 5 red baron mascot guys on every box. not gay or anything but he's handsome and kissing him I feel like it gives him a home inside my soul so he doesn't have to get thrown away 5 times for every pizza.
i kind of slept on the basic cheese and pepperoni for a while because I could get supreme for the same price. but I was pretty impressed at the unique and nostalgic flavors of those basic ones.

Hey, its a first step. Once you get your process down you'll be making home made pizza much more often than the frozen kind. Find these Lebanese pita breads, 6 thin crust pizzas for $1.69 and they store frozen. Make your own sauce with the 50 cent 8 oz cans of tomato sauce, adding what you like to it. Practice makes perfect, a few mistakes along the way and soon youll be making lovely pizza customized for you, at the lowest cost and free from ass cancer
