Doesn't really matter that much because they are pretty wet at the end as well so they hold onto seasoning well, but generally if I can season something before or during cooking then I will. In egg dishes that start with beaten eggs like omelettes, you can season more evenly throughout the egg if you do so when it's still liquid instead of after cooking when it's solid. I've never had salting beforehand make a difference by interfering with the cooking the way people say it does. I think that's a cope when people are trying to get better at cooking eggs.

What's your point? The topic was asking if you should you season eggs before or after and had a pic of one of the two options, not asking you to point out what the pic shows like a fucking toddler. Yeah, we can all see that that is what the OP pic shows, fucking retard baby.

02/03/26(Tue)01:31:23 No.21864854 worked at a diner. made plenty of eggs, for customers or for myself or coworkers
most are happy with seasoning themselves, i seasoned when they're raw
but i also like runny scrambled, some like hard, some can't stand to see the whites so you have to mix extra. i know the salt-addicts have to add seasonings after so they're more raw instead of heat treated

A little bit of salt on the yolk helps them stay runny at higher temps allowing you to more thoroughly cook the whites.
Anything else doesn't really matter.

Pretty sure that's just ancient broscience that people parroted endlessly that isn't actually true. And wouldn't you know, Serious Eats already deboonked it.
